What's the name of that power adapter
Yea. 1 is power only the other is communication and usb power. If you want it working its best, run the power one to a power strip, and the communication one to ps4. Or in my instance I bought usb3 splitter hub and ran it to ps4, and those wires and vr hub to it. Leaving the other 4 for. Headphones and keyboard etc. An external Hard drive, will not work on a splitter according to Sony. It has to be directly hooked up. However I have not tested this
Using the USB plugs is If you want those ports for communication. If you just want them for power then use the other plug, (which i ran to a power strip instead of ps4) to keep that slot open

I honestly just got the stand from a garage sale and didn't realize that it needed a power cord

I don’t really understand, i can’t seem to figure this out. What cords went where and how can I still use my external device. I have all my cords plugged in but my vr is still saying a usb isn’t plugged in
External hard drive plugs right into the first USB slot of the ps4. I have my connect like his but I have the same problem. USB says it's not connected when it is.
Erm...The storage box should be perfectly fine on the hub without being erased... You don't seem to understand how USB work.
Did you test that, all I’ve heard is that it’ll be erased and I’d rather not take the chance until I’ve heard otherwise

Does the fan actually work?? I have one but can’t tell if the fan is on or what not. And that button on bottom right corner, you said it’s the on off button? I’ll press it and everything remains the same...
Hi sorry for the late reply I dont think the fan works.. I find the ps4vr stand more to be for charging your remotes..hand joy sticks..vr head set..4 ports USB charger..and just to have ur ps4 looking net on a stand.. Fan does not work..

What is the DC cord for?
Who the hell knows? This is part three of a total cluster fuck. DC plug just vanished between part 2 and 3. Why not delete part one once he realized he was completely wrong? How high is this guy? I want his weed dealer’s number.
The other cord is for your controllers and move controllers to charge the lights turn red when charging them

Hi yes the ps4 has to be on..cause the ps4 is what's giving the stand the power to charge the controller..and the the move sticks
Wouldn't that be what the DC power cable is for? To charge the controllers without having the ps4 on?

@@stephblackcat you can use a cell phone charger base, if you use anything else it can over charge the controllers, but ya thats what the dc cord is for, I have the same model of charging base for the playstation an accessories
@@donlivingstone1802 Erm...the controllers have an active charge circuit. This cuts off charging once the battery is "full"...there is no such thing as over charging...

What type of USB is the ps move station?? Because i have the ps3 move So i wana know if it charges them or not if not can it at least hold them?

Unlike the usb micro/mini difference, both the ps4 and ps3 move controllers have an additional charging setup that is identical, using the two holes on either side of the usb input. It will charge both versions using two metal prongs that clip into those holes instead of the USB port.
So the purpose of a video is to teach us how to do this the right way. This is your 2nd video and your still unsure and testing. C'mon. Plan ahead bud

I cant get the vr to work properly through the additional USB ports dont know what the additional USB access cable is for and cant plug in hard drive to it. Also my lights are blue the whole time. I am waiting for a replacement but if you found a way to get this to all work the way it was supposed to please let me know.
Look at my video #3 that should explain more.. With the blue lights if you have controller that you know is dead put it on the vr stand wiggle it a little bit till you see a red light. If you do see a red light that means the controller is being charged
This video needs more likes and views man. I bought this thing. Looked at the 40 other videos(not same brand) and all the redot posts that said this thing was helpless when it comes to VR, EXTENDED STORAGE, and THE ORIGINAL PS4. You saved me the headache of returning this thing. Now i can play vr and have the extended storage plugged in. One thing tho. Are you sure things are charging on the stand? I get no lights on the move or ds4.
Hi Yes it will charge on the stand.. There's 4 blue lights meaning its charged Once you put your ps4 controller and move controller and the stand it will turn red meaning its charging Also you can charge your ps4 controller in any one of the 4 USB slots that are from the stand Hope that helped
I will be making a 3rd video this weekend in more depth about the ps4 vr stand
please watch video #2 you do have to plug in one of the psvr stand wire into the ps4 so you can use your vr glasses..
