Toolin’ around the East Bay on the Duke 890r
Recently picked up an Insta360 X3 and starting to play with the editing software. Love that you can catch any angle whenever you want. Put a few clips together breaking in the 890r. Nothing too crazy here, just some beautiful weather and nice curves.

Just got the new Ankerwork M650 wireless mic setup. Was able to get the mic clipped to the inside of my helmet and tethered to my DJI Osmo Action Camera. I made a couple mistakes on this first trial: noise cancelling was set to high, and I bumped up the input by 3Db, thinking that the wind and bike noise would need to be compensated for. This thing is a beast! All in one jumpstart, inflator, pressure washer, light, and device charger (details below). Leo Vince LV2 on my KTM 890R

Just installed the Leo Vince LV2 dual exhaust on my 2023 KTM Duke 890r and I’m loving it! Throaty rumble, a bit louder, and the decel sound is beast. Maybe a slightly better midrange performance, think roll on accel in 6th gear, but otherwise just an aesthetic and acoustic improvement. Still in the break-in period, but getting some good miles on this super scalpel! Loving the way it handles and how easy it is to ride. Can’t wait to get the first service and really open her up!
Warm-up rides at Trestle Bike Park in Colorado

Hit up Trestle Bike Park in Colorado with the cousins. Had a couple warm up runs before they had to close down the mountain from thunderstorms! Some decent green and blues here, with Kent’s kids getting used to the trails. Definitely a park to check out more when the weather is nice!
North Moab Highlights 2023

Rerouted to Moab on a longer trip to camp out in BLM land and couldn’t resist spending a half day hitting the trails before moving on. Spent time in the Klondike Bluffs area hitting Dino Flow (really not much flow), and Jurassic (easy but fun way to rerun), then down to the Moab Brands to ride a couple loops of Sidewinder (massive flow!). Good times catching some air and winding through some sweet birds with Austin and Guy South of Tahoe. Perfect weather, a little snow, and not too dusty. Good ride for the e-bikes so we could do multiple loops and hit those jumps hard at the end!

It was work pushing around this 52 pounds of aluminum on the pump track. Hit the jumps and got a little air, but not much runway on these. Fun nonetheless!
Low mode on the Ghost Kato FS 7

This bike is now about 8 years old and still rides super quiet. In the last year or so it’s let me down a few times, mostly the Shimano I components failing. But, she’s got new brakes and rotors, new freewheel hub, new derailleur and chain, serviced fork and shock, and some sweet new pedals! Ready for some summer adventures!

My daughter has an amazing Malinois who is around 3 years old. She’s worked extensively with her and has had trainers to help along the way. I was there the first week she brought her home, and we get to work together every time I visit, usually for about a week, 2 or 3 times a year. Mid-Winter Mudslingin’

Gotta take any chance to get out when there’s a break in the weather! Low to mid 40’s, but sunny and clear, and most of the mud was dried up. Fallen trees plagued a few of my favorite runs, but there were plenty clear enough to blast on! Stay fit this winter my friends, and have fun doing it!
Maui Adventure 2022

Took a Super Raft out toward Lanai and got to hang out with dolphins, whales, turtles, fish and friends! Amazing weather that day, a break from several days of intense wind! Highly recommend the super raft: it’s low to the water, fast, and all seats have a great view! One of the highlights of this years trip!
