Perdita was the perfect woman for Garfield Logan. And the prick writers took her away for no reason. Unlike Jillian Jackson, Raven and especially Terra, Perdita selflessly unconditionally loved Garfield. This break pisses me off to no end.

As someone who struggles with depression nowadays. I can say that these scenes in Beast Boy about depression are very realistic. Wanting to sleep regularly, fighting the environment, pretending to feel good are all of them very realistic. This show is very skilled in showing depression and should be appreciated. and i love how they show it with beast boy. b.boy is always seems to, relaxed and playful . Like nothing matter. but sometimes peoples keep things bottled up and it takes one last hit for it to come out, and the beast boy we're watching here, after the last hit, his defense mechanism is down and he's desperate. It is a very interesting experience to watch the issues we deal with such as depression and relationship problems through superheroes

The fact this is an accurate representation of grief and depression in a child's cartoon beyond helped me with my own depression. I absolutely love the Black Canary scenes as a therapist as well. Asking the right questions and even knowing he was lying in parts to get the true answers.
