Hey Hui, great work! I couldn't help notice that you are in Ontario, I am personally in Ottawa and was curious, what do you normally use for waterproofing membrane here? I know Lowes stocks GoBoard but its never in stock and home depot has Prova Board but I can never seem to find it either, just curious what you get and where you get it from because I would like to start using sealant based membranes over kerdi board and band.
Hi Josh, I used to use Kerdi too but few years ago switched to Prova and Wedi boards. Prova and Wedi are basically the same thing except for Wedi, it feels hard and cost is little bit higher. You can check your local bathroom materials suppliers for Wedi, Prova and accessories. In my city I go to a store called Prosol for those stuffs.
@@Hui_Building Thank you Hui, I will check them out!
Put this behind some random japanese playlists and we got some quality content right here!!!! Keep it up!!

Batt powered guns are shit.
Is this vid a yr old, cause if not this is 2024🙂
That Team Red nail gun is impressive. Sounds like something out of Star Wars. I guess you have to work in the snow, but how does water-proofing work in such times?
Water proofing works stop in winter usually.
We recently got Prova board and sealant on clearance. Seems like the product may be discontinued
So there's just no point to this whatsoever?
Sometimes people upload things just for themselves, It may seem odd to you or I, to come across a video like this, but likely this was just a memory he wanted to store for the future, or to simply prove he did it /can do it for future clients or something.
Just to confirm - that tube of stuff is Laticrete HydroBan?
They are Prova board sealant.

👍👍
Great job!
Want to learn that! Great job!
Looks great! Couple of things I do that make cutting stringers more enjoyable. Plunge cutting helps set the angle so you’re not fighting the saw getting it right at the beginning. Cut the same angle all the way down then return the other way, that way you’re not resetting your body position on each cut, especially helpful for longer stringers. Also for sets of steps getting composite material stringers should really be 12” OC.
Nice advices, thanks Matt.
wow it's so beautiful! Great job!
Merci
