This was my first loco upgraded with a Kenversions tender and R/C and a Kenversions meths burner. Also upgraded the pressure valve. This loco got me into 16mm scale eventually after joining the O gauge guild first then realised that wasn’t for me.

This was the first run of the Genesis after a repair from Evans Steam Services it ran very well.

that thing is really steaming!
Another great visual record David of the day's running. Signal Box looks perfectly at home there. That Ragleth is running a bit too well (fast) now!
@@ChrisCairns59 Thanks Chris it was a smashing day for filming. The signal box looks great there and Alex is delighted at how well his Ragleth is running.

Whereabouts SMET ? Would love to view and maybe bring a wee loco for O guage 😊
@@associatedblacksheepandmisfits It’s 3 miles outside Methven which is a little village just outside Perth. It’s the Scottish Model Engineering Trust.
Great Mamod, I have many locomotive made by Mamod and I think that is a very pity his closure! Cheers Fabrizio -- like 12
@@fabrizioviscardi40 Thanks Fabrizio yes great wee locos I’ve done a few mods to this one over the years 👍
@@dbeglin Thanks for sharing my friend!
Thanks for that Gordon long time no see 🚂🚂
Brilliant! It is running well!
Either the valve timing is way off or that Lady Anne has the chuffpipe attached to only one cylinder exhaust. Something similar happened on some of the Charles models
@@SteamLance The owner did say the timing was out and he was working on it thanks for your comments
What does EWLR stand for?
I will find out for you thanks for asking 🚂🚂
Just found out it’s the East Wood Light Railway 👍
@@dbeglin Thanks!
Nice running session. Really like the figures on the slate train. The hedge running parallel with the track a great method of embedding the layout into the garden landscape. Thank you.
@@geordieceltic2 Thanks for your comments will pass them on to the owner 🚂🚂
Definitely a Grand Day Out! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! We had a great day.
Thanks for recording some of the action David. As I said on the day it was not the wettest Open Day at SMET that I've attended - however the drive home was certainly challenging!
At least the rain didn’t stop us from running 🚂🚂
Great running session, thank you.
@@geordieceltic2 glad you liked it 🚂🚂
Steam trains out and about in their natural habitat, the landscape and the weather. 😊
@@scottfw7169 thanks for your comments
Thanks for that Chris it was a smashing wee railway and we spent a good few hours at Bletchley Park a very interesting place
A nice visit video summary David. Not been back to this railway for many years. The parallel running with the Simplex's was a nice bonus (curious the drivers swapped ends for the return journey?). I did some written exams at Bletchley Park when I flew Airships at Cardington - managed to visit the code breaking museum.
i just aquired one of these wonderful locomotives, What sourt of run time should i expect? how offen should i top up the water as there is no sight glass? where can i get the wonderful slate wagons please.
@@grahamfordham4510 Just spoke to my mate who’s engine it is and he says he gets up to 35mins run time but he put a Goodal valve in his and runs it for 10 mins then tops the water up ok. He says the slate wagons are from North Pilton Works hope this helps.
@@dbeglin Thank you for taking the trouble to reply.have a wonderful day.
As usual, another good video record of the day David. And at least part of my collection attended - those 7/8ths coaches behind the Large Quarry Hunslet.
@@ChrisCairns59 Thanks Chris sorry to hear you’ve got Covid hopefully not for too long. Yes Dave told me they were your coaches they’re nice coaches and quite heavy and ran well. You missed a good day the weather couldn’t have been any better.
Thanks Dave I don’t hang about 😂😂
Wow, didn't take you long to post this 'Dave B DeMille' 🙂 A lovely day oot in the sunshine. Kathleen did a great job on the garden. Thanks for sharing

Sorry only Playmobile and pottery people were available
Oh, if only one of the characters from the Thomas & Friends franchise was there
The ground level filming is so realistic. Love the crossing shots at 1.1, so like Penrhyn on the FR. Thank you.

All part of the service Chris glad you liked it 🚂🚂
Brilliant David. Great video of my R/C Stirling running including the station stop.
Well done David. Going to send the URL to Peter for distribution to the Group?
Thanks Chris just needs a few tweaks here and there but should be ok
A great visual record of the running day David. Thanks for sharing it. The black Mamod is a Mamod Quarry locomotive, and the other black/red loco is a gas fired Peter Jones 'Dacre' built using several Roundhouse components.
Thanks for that Chris I’ve updated my descriptions glad you liked it 👍
Looks like both Bagnal and Betty had plenty of satisfied passengers. I like the locomotives' colors.
Thanks glad you liked it 🚂🚂
nice video enjoyed it
Thanks glad you liked it 🚂🚂
Nice to see Betty running. That’s a superb loco
Thanks for your comments it’s nice to just sit back and watch it running round the track as it’s manual control
Love that shot at (1:48). If u can add a whistle sound n chuffer, it'll add another dimension of happiness?
Thanks for your comments these locos have chuffers but the loco in question does not have a whistle ok
Excellent layout. Looks like it was fun running the trains all around it. Hopefully my setup will develop to this level some day.
Thanks for your comments glad you liked it 🚂🚂
A nice day,a great railway, and a gathering of friends to run trains with…🚂🚂👍👍
Yes it was hopefully will have a few more this year 🚂🚂
Very nice! Thanks for sharing. 😊
Glad you liked it thanks for watching 🚂🚂
Neato Mosquito!
That Fairlie fairly moves, dunnit? Likely to fly off the dock in Porthmadog!
I don’t think the owner was too bothered about the speed police watching he was more concerned about the loco running after his repair which it did 🚂🚂
