Speakers for Africa is a US registered 501(c)(3) and pending registration in Uganda. We are committed to the youth of Uganda.
Speakers for Africa is a Conifer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports various programs in Uganda by providing schools
with educational materials, food and sports teams. On August 31st, we are hosting a fundraiser at Cactus Jack’s in Evergreen- Speakers for Africa Back to School: Uganda. We invite you to participate and would like to offer your business a sponsorship and advertising opportunity.
We are raising funds to repair and rebuild classrooms at the Uganda Youth Aid Nursery and Primary School in Kampala, Uganda. With a student body of over 1,000 (many of whom are orphans), some children are forced to learn within buildings on the brink of collapse. After in-depth research of expenditures, we set our goal at $15,000.

Last February, we brought laptops, tablets and school supplies from generous Coloradans. We also helped improve a boys and girls soccer club with jerseys, equipment, and coaches. Because of your kindness, we can change lives with very little money.
Now we need to rebuild the classrooms for the younger kids. Younger children (many of whom are orphans) are forced to study from a building on the brink of collapse. Please help us repair this classroom.

It is a dangerous to walk into the Kamwookya Ghetto of Kampala, Uganda- for anyone, but especially as a Mzungu. Mzungus (or foreigners) should not walk in ghettos in East Africa. It was particularly dangerous with camera gear.
