Thanks Jim. This year, I spoke directly with the fund raising team at Cancer Research UK. They provided me with a link to set up a 'Just Giving' donation branded website and issued me with a QR code which could direct people directly to the fundraising page. By all means click on the link to see what it looks like. Alternatively, set up your own Just Giving page via www.justgiving.com/fundraise It is fairly self explanatory to set up and nominate your chosen charity. You can set up notifications about any donations being made. You can also set up an auto thank you message for each donation made. Good luck with it. Who are you thinking of supporting - which charity?

@@cotswoldhousephotography2439 I just watched your other village videos. There's a lot to learn from a pro photographer, although all I have at my disposal is my iphone 11. I'd like to add some limited bokeh (most viewers enjoy detail), but I can't do the moving focus shifting bokeh. I really liked your quick looks inside at live store/church indoor scenes; that's a new idea I've never seen before. It's not patented, so forgive me if I steal this one. You need more views! Your videos are too good to go unwatched. I think the trick is what you put in the "Tags" section during TH-cam uploading. I enter "Christmas", "Christmas Village", "Christmas Village Display", "Department 56", and "Lemax". That way people searching will find your video more often. It certainly can help your charity, too, if more views result in more donations (another great idea I may use).

@@jpetersgolfpro Thank you for your kind words - much appreciated. Every year we try to improve what we do and add something fresh. Last year we had a family friend produce the soundtrack for us. They had just graduated with a music degree so I asked her to do a cover version of Winter Wonderland. We had great plans for sound this year but Covid-19 has thwarted us so I will seek an alternative - it will work out fine though. Feel free to use the live cutaways idea. We encourage creativity with all our clients who come to us for training. Thanks for sharing ideas around tags - that's really helpful and I agree that more viewings should help with donations.
