Glad I gave this video a watch.

After nearly 40 years of riding my bikes as fast as I could (usually), I was diagnosed with ARVC (enlarged right ventricle, aka Sudden Death Syndrome) in 2008. Reluctant to give up riding my beautiful bikes especially on multi-day bikepacking adventures, I continued until 2 years ago when my cardiologist recommended I go to an e-bike. I bought an e-mtn bike and an e-gravel bike. I continue to ride just about everyday and have done a couple of e-bikepacking adventures. These days, it's more about riding totally in the Now, being present and enjoying the journey, savouring every second. Sometimes, less really is more!

Wealthy European cyclists have led to the gentrification of Girona, soaring real estate prices and the uprooting and displacement of native families. This movie should really at least attempt to address this issue instead of ignoring it altogether. There is sometimes a social cost to finding your bliss.

What makes these track cyclists different than road cyclists? I'm sure people ask this question all the time. Can track cyclists compete on the road and can road cyclists compete on the track?

Enjoyed that, no idea how many times I have done it. Was born and rode in the area most of my life. Great club run roads for Macclesfield Wheelers.
