I hate every fandom out there. It’s not exclusive to Sonic fans: Sonic fans, Dragon Ball fans, Naruto fans, Nintendo fans ALL these fandoms suck. I couldn’t possibly care about any of them.

I am going to say something controversial…. I have opinions on the Sonic the hedgehog Franchise

As a sonic fan I agree this fandom is so tough to be in Especially with how bad the va's get that much hatred. I’m actually happy that Keanu is voicing shadow if Jason voiced shadow in movie 3 he wouldn’t have enough time to spend time with his family nor have time for himself. And the quill debate has to be the most dumbest debate in the history of Sega. I usually think the reason why Sonics quills change is probably because he gets a haircut from Sega as that’s my head cannon. Also I remember a friend of mine was around in the 2000s he told me that Jason was hated back then they even had papers with death threats. And now they are glazing Jason like a crispy Cream doughnut. Every fandom is like this but I feel like the sonic fandom is probably the worst one. However there are some good and chill people I have met especially of how positive they are and doesn’t care what sonic changes into they just want to play the games just because they like sonic. Long rant aside I understand what you’re saying and hope that this community gets better as they’re are more positive fans in the sonic community than the toxic ones.

I swear that your argument for why Amy doesn't have her advanced moveset is "dumb and retarded" Advanced 1 was the first Sonic game to be on a nintendo console and they specifically made the game to play like the classics... it really shouldn't be said that design changes aren't relevant to gameplay, especially back then when Sonic Team didn't make the Classic/Modern distinction that the 2010s brought. It t was perfectly reasonable for fans to assume that Sonic Team would at least be consistent with her past gameplay that they introduced for her in thay first classic inspired game and she would still be the "hard mode" and that she wouldn't have the spin jump to protect her like the rest do and have to use her hammer.

“I didn’t know anything about Instagram, Twitter, or TH-cam when I was younger.” This is how I felt as a kid too! I felt like I grew up in the 90s because my family had a lot of stuff still from the 90s we had the old landlines, the very old Dell computer that never worked right. I did play the heck out of Newgrounds as a kid. Flash games were fun. Oh yeah and I would go to the Arcade. My mom bought me a plushie of Sonic from an amusement park. That’s how I learned about Sonic. Didn’t actually realize we had his games until a garage sale and I pulled out some of our games we had. Well I knew Sega was on consoles because my family had a Sega Genesis and a GameCubr. Then eventually we got the Wii and they bought Sonic games for me of course. The only Sonic games I didn’t play until way later was Sonic games on Xbox and PlayStation because I believe I was 13 or 14 before I was able to get an Xbox 360. Never had a PS3 unfortunately but I heard it’s laggy anyways. But yeah I can relate to this video a lot!
