Thank you for this video! I just tried to order 2 of them, but i won't now... Bullshit quality.. I will stick with the sanyo / Panasonic ncr18650ga. The same as your example is happening to all liitokala batteries, i own some of the new 18650 liitokalas and after 10x uses they are no longer 3500mah, just poor 2950-3040 mah. Never more liitokalas for me. I own the charger lii-500, lii-600 and M4S, i had also the Opus for some time, so i know in measuring well.

2 words for the blemish: Hand... Made... Your Hanklight is Lighting ART, your Manker is a Lighting Unit. Of course it won't be crispy perfect as your stamped-out Manker was with a big factory and mechanized powder coating. Go up close to any old Ferrari from the 1980s and a Toyota Camry from the 1980s (in immaculate condition ofc). Even way back then, you will see zero inconsistency in the paint, metallic flakes, panel gaps sharp as a razor... meanwhile the classic Ferrari looks like it was put together with motorcycle farings. super uneven. orange peel in the paint. clear cut lines throughout the underside where bodyparts meet. Hand made in impossible shapes for the 80s with exotic materials. it will always have an organic imperfection to it.

Yes I remember people talking about it when it came out just didn’t do anything amazing/ lack of head options but hopefully the sft40 head changes that 👍

Glad to see this cleared up. Maybe remove this video and do another one a little more in-depth? I was worried after seeing it in case the finish was poor, but seeing the comments make me think the video is kind of moot. Still fun to see one of the few dm1.12 videos out there.

Strangely enough the imperfections/smudges or whatever they were are gone. I realize they were not very noticeable in the video but they were there. I tried wiping them off when I first got it 24 hours ago since writing this but they did not come off but just now noticed they are no longer there. Maybe because Ive been handling it since receiving it they rubbed off. idk…Probably just getting senile. Sorry Hank.

I see these come up advertised for me, but when I go to the site the "reasonable" price was just for one of the heads. Intersting torch though, and would consider buying one, but not near the top of my ever expanding list.

Those glowing bars (tritium) do not need to be “charged”… they should just keep glowing for 25-30 years and then they expire.

Cool, I just started my collection from Neal and others. I got the Thor1 with the 18650 extension as well. Nice little thrower. I'm liking my Fenix PD36R the best of what I've collected so far. My Lumintop GT mini is right there with it though. I like the throw/flood combination of both. The throw /flood combination of my Thrunite T2 isn't quite on par with the Fenix and the Gt mini, but not bad. I have fell in love with my little Thrunite T1 though. Really really hard to rate my line up, they are all so close. Number 1 the Fenix, #2 the GT mini, #3 the Thor 1 just to reach out there. #4 the Thrunite T1 will see more use than my Thrunite T2. Got many more to buy and try, but need to wait a while to build the flashlight funds back up. My little T1 probably gets more use than all of them put together though. Might have to try an Olight Baton 3 to compare against my T1. Look forward to more of your reviews.

You mentioned that the light on the button doesn't turn off. Does that mean this will end up dead if you leave it for a while? It never turns off?

Buy alternatives to lumintop. I bought a Thor 1 that had manufacturer defects on the tail cap. I contacted their customer service twice and included pictures and a video but they never responded. I then bought one of their lights from Amazon in part to be able to contact lumintop through a different channel. They responded but were no help and told me to fix it myself. Unfortunately with these Chinese companies, once they have your money, they will ignore you. They could have had a lifetime customer if they handled it appropriately, but I won't buy another one of their lights.

Your rgb switch and your beam look absurdly brighter then my Thor1. What battery are you using? Or is it just your phone camera making it look more dramatic? I can't see the beam like that indoors.
