7 straight hours of tree removals ends with a sore back, slight hyperextended knee, cramped hamstring, cramped fingers, forearm and bruised shin. I don't know why this job got the best of me but it really did.

I bought one had to fix the chain brake but other then that it works good.
Would you mind sharing the part number and where to buy the new cylinder? I need to replace the cylinder and piston in my Proyama PCS68 as well. My cylinder has “5966 Zomax” on the base, but I can’t find a replacement anywhere. Thanks.
Ive been thinkin of a version between proyama and there is another one that stands out above the rest
So why did you cut the video short and what did you expect your viewers to get out of this?
Yeah the guy that was videotaping accidentally hit the button. If you watch my short video you'll see the rest Sorry about that
CRAZY SCARY!
WHAT THE HECK?!
HOLY CRAP!
Your neighbors must love you
That pyroma is way better that other saw ain't built right too much useless speed not enough torque
Such a nice and powerful chainsaw with new cylinder, thanks for sharing your review
@@vanhainguyen439 thanks for taking the time to watch!
If you do freeport around .020" it wont really hurt anything. If you start pushing past .030" that would start to be a concern but i have hear of stuff running great a lot further past that.
Thanks for letting me know that. I never knew that. I wouldn't want to chance it through the fact that I'm aware free air is making its way in, but at the same time Super Dave, you're well respected in my eyes, so damn ...it must be true.
@@tatepazaski5488 at that point 98-99% of the low pressure in the crankcase has been reached. Once the piston starts to come down it now seals and starts to pressurize the crankcase again. If the exhaust is super blocked up then maybe a little free porting can be bad due to backpressure but still it is a very small amount of time the crankcase is open. Not saying intentionally freeport but a super small amount wont be noticed.
I used motoseal along with the gaskets on my carb boot and all on my 257/262 hybrid.. idk if thatll help you or not
👍🆙TP, does look and sound really good

Hey Tate, the Amazonian site just put up the cylinder kit you need. Look for proyama 68cc piston cylinder kit. If I post the link here they just immediately delete it.
I am 49 and my best lift is 405 for 5 ! You are strong!
@@theogi8375 Your 5 at 405 is still in the ballpark. Nice work!!! 💪
What’s the bore size (MM) of the original Proyama cyl? I’m pretty good at hunting parts maybe I can find something for you.
Oh s*** okay. I'm in Lincoln City, Oregon. Hitting the waves today, about 10 hours away from my home in Washington. I'll check that out when I get back this week. Thank you!!
I purchase this Proyama 68cc chainsaw on amazon, it comes with 2 bar and size, 24in and 20 in, it's a beast! Love it!
I agree!!
What I will probably do is, well hopefully find this cylinder, modify it and then put it on the market. Then I'll wait to hear your rules and rags for the upcoming competition.
I'm not gonna allow that cylinder in the competition. Sorry. This competition is going to focus on the Zenoah 5200 clones and I want people to only use stuff that works on that chassis. But, it looks like you aren't gonna use that cylinder anyways. You could probably cut the squish and top of the piston enough to make one of the cylinders for the regular 6200 saws work. I'd try that.
pine and sawdust? sharpen that chain chips should hurt and look like fritos
Just a stock out of the box review. Nothing more
SOPOWERFUL
PROYAMA IS BETTER CLONE SAW IAM SURE BEST SELLING ON AMAZON
Yeah, it seems to be pretty powerful. I want to see how powerful it is with my port job but the cylinder is toast. Waiting for a new cylinder
I don’t have a 90 degree yet either. I have found success using the ball style double cuts along with diamond ball bits. I put the cylinder in a vice so I can use two hands to control the dremel. It takes forever but it’s what I have. Sucks about the cylinder I’ve def done that, but we learning!
I might try that diamond ball. I talked to Dubbs and he's got a good 90 degree dremel but you would have to bounce a $250 check to get that one.
Swap that chain out to a C83 and see how much better it feels! Yes, I am still doing the Kung Fu Hustle. Did yours come with an actual 20" bar? Should be 72 drive links. Mine came with an 18" bar, 68dl, and it was just marked 20".
Hey Boedy, Did you watch my last short? That cylinder is the proyama. Worse yet I can't find a replacement, even with the part number!!! I will check the 20-in bar on its length as soon as the tears clear up in my eyes so I can see. So glad to hear the Kung Fu Hussle is still a thing!!! Take care
Lol 😆 I shoulda probably waited til the end to say anything. I didn’t see the last part 🤣
They were pretty deep Big House. The plating isn't that good on those cylinders? And some of those dings were beyond the plating. I just looked online for a new cylinder and I can't find one anywhere. Trying to figure out if there's a cylinder piston combo from a different saw I can use. You know I probably shouldn't have checked that to the driveway just in case I can't find another one. Let me straighten out fins for days if I can't find another.
@@tatepazaski5488 fins aren’t all that important anyways. I’ve used many cyls off saws that were crushed by the skidder or trucks and it bust lots of fins off. Also holes through plating is the same principle as grinding fingers in. As long as you can get them smooth you’re likely fine. Not giving you any BS or anything just saying in case it’s a last option type thing it’ll at least getcha running lol 😆..will it be pretty? No prob not but it may getcha running and that’s all that matters. Anyways best of luck man 💪👍🌲🇺🇸🌲
@@Houseworksaws thanks for the advice Big House!!
Sand them smooth and run it… they probably look bad but I bet with a little sanding they won’t affect anything.
Pretty good saw I’d say
Yeah I was surprised.
Sounded a tad lean on the H after your second cut. Fatten it up a tick and man I bet that thing will really rock and roll. That’s darn impressive for Zenoah clone. I’m gonna have to get me one and build it on my channel.
Yes a bit lean for sure. I'm not a clone guy but I was pretty amazed at its aggressiveness. It may not be a Marathon saw but well, we'll see.
@@tatepazaski5488 It’s a mean lil thing for out of the box clone
Clean controlled reps. Love to see it. Keep it up
Looks strong man! You can def move up in weight if you move a little quicker. But then the gym librarians might get upset lol
Quarter reps for size and strength
WHERE are parts 2,3 & 4?
I'm running out of videos with little time lately. So I'm just extending them one per day. Thanks for asking though. They're just short shorts.😊
Oh that's great news!!!!! You must have figured out how to dial it in better than I could. Did your saw do outstanding like I predicted?
Your saw held its own today buddy!!!! A loud little Mojo too.
I'm sure you will do fine! A lot can happen during a saw race. Will be a great time
Thanks Joe!! I feel like I shouldn't have gotten back in there for a second grind. First test cut it bogged down like a S.O.B. it was late at night and I got neighbors on top of me. I turned the screws on the carb, fired up one test cut and it didn't die. But then again, it wasn't that impressive either. So I never really dialed it in all the way because I planned on shipping it out the next morning. So basically hoping they find the correct tune. I watched your saw and it was a freaking beast. On the next competition I'm going to be begging you for information. Good luck Joe.
The nerves!!!! 👍🏻 You'll do great man!!! Just super glad to see new names enter in, always great to see, and from what ive seen, you entered in a good one. If your looking to stay in the hobby, this is a great way to do it. An 8hr ride later and I'm here in Atlanta waiting for tomorrow.
Yeah TW, I saw you made it to the Hotel. Have a great dinner. Good luck tomorrow and thanks for your help!!
@@tatepazaski5488 thank you man and good luck tomorrow!!!! 👍🏻

Super clean old saw. That was back when echo didnt have a pro and homeowner line so it is pro quality but just lacking in power due to older design architecture.
I just learned something. Thanks Dave!!
You wear same safety gear I do👍👍
It couldn't get any worse. At least I was wearing my eyeglasses. I don't know if that counts for anything though.
Kevin wears Kevlar socks with his sandals. All the better to track chips into the house.
Only professionals wear sandals with a chainsaw. 😂
That's correct!!!!!
Gettin there. Tell ya is sounds like a strong runner
Thanks, yeah it's already shipped. I threw in an extra $10 hoping Boedy can fine tune it.
@@tatepazaski5488 I’m sure he’ll get it dialed right in for you. I would imagine many will need fine tuning due to elevation, temp etc.. I’m doing my final assembly tonight and testing tomorrow then Monday it’s going out. I’m excited to see what others come up with.
@@Houseworksaws well I hope it turns out great for you. Good luck!!!
@@tatepazaski5488 Thank you, You as well
Glad you got it running good! I’ve had a few moments of I bet my neighbors didn’t appreciate that. Well and probably my wife. But I mean 11 pm just got a build finished and the starter handle just pulls itself I promise 😂
😂🤣😂🤣😂 Did you notice how nervous I was and how quick the video was? I was trying to get done before the neighbors came outside. I'm glad I'm not the only one Bill🤣! And yes that damn pull cord comes off right damn in the middle of another problem!!!!
Man that actually sounds really good at first. I think it’s lean and running itself out of fuel.
I think your right.
Those poor shoes and socks, so hard to get sawdust out of them. 😂
Correct, even the air compressor doesn't get it all out and it drives me nuts!! Trust me though, you'll see it in the next video too.
Ah hell this stuff happens to us all. Could be fuel delivery issues but most likely an air leak. Good luck, you'll get it dialed in.
Yeah it looked to be a fuel issue. DONT SCARE ME WITH AN AIR LEAK!! I DONT HAVE THAT TIME!!! Anywho it looks to be ready to go now. Hope all is well Collins.
Mine is scattered on the dinner table right now😬
Lol in the next part 2 I got it going that night. At the end it didn't seem the more I modded, slowing the less the results. I'm calling it good and shipping it out. Good luck to you Dave on getting that back together and kicking some butt!!

Tater back in action!!!
