Today's time and date - 22:00pm 12 August 2024 but 35 years ago exactly i was outside a pub in Alperton getting in a car getting set to go to this party. SUNRISE AND BACK TO THE FUTURE 1989 DANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL....The best day of my entire fucking life! Nothing will ever match this day...Lost half a stone dancing so much, hugged at least 3000 people as i danced with them, jumped on a bouncy castle like i was 16 again, smiled and did the dance mental like i never knew i could... Thank you Tony Colston Hayter for giving me the best day of my life. xxx

The girls we had in the 90s were the best looking women ever! I'm glad I got to experience this. I was just turned 16 when this rave happened, and my girlfriends uncle and his best mate took me to it. Gave me my first E at a rave, and looked after me all night. Still see those lads, and am glad to say there still around.

Great night - from The Strings of Life in June to the epic Energy 97 that August, 1997 was to Helter Skelter what 1995 was to Dreamscape - their NYE being the first showcase at Denbigh NL to use The Rollers as well as The Sanctuary and Dreamscape 20 being the last licensed outdoor rave to feature an all night outside main stage. RIP to the young lad who passed away at The Strings of Life that summer as well as the death at the Skegness Fantasy Island event that same night - that could have been many of us at one point or another. Love to all the dancers past, present and future xxx
