I'm going to assume u don't have the rollers or azure rollers. So just keep playing till u do Btw, the speed stat (u can look at ur stats by pressing + in the vehicle menu. You can also disable the antenna in the stat menu as well by pressing L/LZ) doesn't matter too much, acceleration and handling matter a little more. So having a little over half speed and 3/4 acceleration and handling will be good. So if u have it, use the Teddy Buggy (it's a kart) and the paper plane (it's a glider). Another thing: you can trick directionally. Example: say there is a left turn coming up, and there's little trick ramp; If u hold left and trick, you will get a more left angle when you land (U might need to re-read this comment bc I edit it so much) In 2:58, orange yoshi had 1 spinning shroom, and a banana, in 4th place. If u have crappy items in 4th or bellow, get rid of them at a double item box, that way u can get 2 new (and probably better) items. In orange yoshi's case, mushroom and banana behind you, (while u r a decent distant distance from the box if u have mushroom) and collect the double box. I also have a few questions 1. Do u have Switch online? 2. If so, what is your Switch name 3. What is your age range (so I don't want ur actual age, just a range. Such as 12-18 or something 4. Who are you playing with?

Quick tip , for your tires i reccomend the rollers or the azure rollers , they make any combo better than it already is

A few things: 1. Which yoshi were u? 2. Use roller wheels (either are fine [azure or normal]) 3. Drift more and drift earlier than u think you should 4. At 4:05, don't drift up the hill on DK Mountain, stay right at the base of it. It may SEEM slower, but its faster bc u don't bonk into a wall (edit: did better at 5:14) 5. You keep trying to do the gap cut (DK Mountain), ur doing it way to late, watch a tourial on it (shortcat recommend) 6. If u r in first and u have a coin and a shell/banana/bomb in the reserve slot, then hold onto the coin. Boos can steal items from 1st place, so disappoint them with a coin, instead of the shell/banana/bomb. Lastly, you're improving 👍🏻

I have some tips: 1. use a better combo (perferably use any of the characters listed. Yoshi, Daisy, Peach, or Peachette) 2. Don't use the safety antenna 3. Drift more 4. Watch the TH-camr Shortcat
