Thank you for uploading this, Vergere has long been one of my favourites and I remember the lesson of the Shadowmoth well even years after my first read of Traitor. Sadly after the revelation that she was “a Sith” people gloss over what she has to say as mere manipulation. I disagree, in this situation a real Sith would have just given Jacen the “help” he wanted to gain his trust to later exploit. All Vergere ever did throughout the series was to tell Jacen to make his own decisions, to not just do something because it was “the Jedi way” and to not shut down possibilities because it might lead to the darkside.
