Ben seems like such a lovely, likable, entertaining and funny guy with a hint of eccentricity thrown in for good measure bless him 🙂🙂
Just binge watched LB for the 1st time. Loved Colin. Happily he was part of the best period. Blue Waaaaatch!
London's Burning & Soldier Soldier, two of the finest ever British Dramas.
You looked good back in those days of the movie. A matter of fact most of the characters did look good to. I have the movie on DVD and watch it from time to time. I am interested in movies of these from the Uk.
Clingfilm was a great character in a brilliant series.
I saw Tenpole Tudor at Middlesborough Rock Garden, I think it was about 1980, and I was a bit older than 12😂. Great gig though, it all kicked off half way through, I had my back to the stage, and the punches were flying in from all directions. I can still remember Eddie stopping the singing and saying something like "It's about time you entertained us". Happy Days 😅
Upstairs in the French House pub in Soho...
You played a great character, Nice Interview x
Keep rockin Ed , love your energy at the show
Good ol Tadpole
Brilliant Interview L❤ve You Ben xx
All that and is a biker,..Legend !
Its funny that back in the day...the Punks were considered a bunch of no good rotters...when in fact...Jolly nice people...
Would have gone to those gigs if i had been older. Sorry Ed!
Can make up for it now !
Hugh Fraser - YOU are my WELLINGTON ! (Every scene with Hugh as Wellington is superb, absolutely captured the grandeur and grace of the man.)
What a nice bloke.
Great guy, loved recall one of the best characters at blue watch
What a gentleman. And a very good actor if I may say. I enjoyed a lot of his work. Thanks again.
Derek Martin was brilliant as the seriously corrupt inspector Pyle in the hard hitting BBC drama ' Law and Order'. His co star Peter Dean paying villain ' Jack Lynn' was also very good. and they both ended up with roles in ' Eastenders'.
I am impressed
Nice guy but weakest of the main characters.
At 8:05, Sweet William thinks he "got the short end of the stick and feels like Sharpe betrayed him" because Sharpe did, in fact, betray him. There were a couple of times in the series when Sharpe violated the unwritten laws of brotherhood, and that was one of those times.
I'd love to see tate or john hallam on this channel best officers of blue watch
Having read that Ben was staring in The Mousetrap I decided to get a ticket as I had an opportunity to see it on a work social trip. Not being a big AC fan I didn't know what to expect. Good show and I'd recommend it. If I hadn't seen this interview, I'm not sure that I'd have recognised him. Good interview, always like to watch the ones with the main characters. Seems a very nice guy.
He looks great, should have had a longer interview with Jim Alexander aka "Joe" & I always preferred Joe to Brad, never understood why they both left or got written out at the same time
Who Killed Bambi?
Jason a Holland Parker
Yep recall got injured in series 9 and hurt his head when a beam smashed into him and knocked him out. It was the same episode where john hallam died
He was brilliant in Soldier Soldier. Big scrap with Chris Gascoyne’s character in it which actually turned nasty .
Was watching The Bill rerun on Drama, and Ben was in the episode. He was a Prison Officer looking out for Smithy and Arthur from Eastenders.
You were brilliant in London's Burning, Paul. Very charismatic. You could definitely still be actor if you wanted to.
Hi Is there any other actors in the pipeline coming up ?
I love Ross Boatman
I went to listen to the London's Burning theme tune out of nostalgia and it being a great piece of music, and from there I've come across this interview series on your channel, this is the third one I've watched, amazing hearing the stories
Well spoken man.
He's an aristocrat!
Tyler!
We love you sir
Brilliant, eccentric and flamboyant with lots of respect to him, I think he's brilliant and sounds really down to earth and very humorous the way he chats and very pleasant. Always thought highly of him. The old ship name he was thinking of which was Ocean they used to call the S.S.Atlantis. I thought he was great on The Crystal Maze and was especially funny on camera with his mannerisms and also his big music side of his life before and after.
Omg
Great when him and Jack had a scrap
Loved cling film he was a brilliant character. You played the character unbelievably well Chris. I grew up watching London’s burning as a young kid and loved everything about the fire brigade. Pleased to say I’m now a firefighter and fulfilled my childhood dream. As a firefighter myself now I can genuinely say that the producers and writers of the show really gave the public and viewers a realistic dynamic and at times hilarious view of the many characters in the fire service. In my first couple of years as a firefighter myself I can see the many characters of London’s burning in front of me. There’s a cling film a poison Pearce a jack Morgan and a Nick Georgidas among it all, great series I’ll always love the programme
Another Fantastic character actor who was in everything of that time period loved him in everything especially the Minder episode with Justin when he puts the fightners on Mark Farmer A very very believable actor especially in his youth playing villains
great to hear his story on been on the show, He had great story lines, always wanted his family to come back.
I imagine he could have been good in Sicknote's productions
Great interview love londons burning watching it again at the mo on drama would love you too interview Sean blowers
Eds a legend and still looking/sounding good, thanks for posting 👏
I absolutely loved you on London’s burning Paul your a star and still sound such a lovely man ❤
Just saw him in Frankfurt playing Cardinal Bergolio in Two Popes, he was brilliant. Was full sure he was South American with the accent he had. Well played Sir
I have to say it was unfair that sicknote didnt get a proper send off no funeral for him only jhon and recall sicknote was there way before recall dont get me wrong i like the characters i just finished watching London's burning box set and i didn't like series 14 it was so crap very bad director i say the original directors was way better and better stroy lines
I have to say Ben you where good actor in London's burning they shouldn't of killed Recall off should of given you retirement ending same Bayleaf I don't agree they didn't even give sicknote a better ending he was there from the very start
