"YOU LITTLE MF, TRYING TO MINE ME FOR MY IRON?!"
@@JawsBenoit haha dude was not messing around.. I barely had time to register I'd hit him before he 1-shot me.. was so bummed for a sec hahaha
#1:30 Marlboro: My god! The woman is more terrible than Odin😰
Thank you for this! I thought all hope was lost when I got the glitch but your guide was an enormous help in me completing this level.
: ) Really glad it can be helpful for anyone!
Aaahhhhahah you were ready to throw the damned Elytra into some lava!😭😭
hi jimmy
Uh, hi!
The countdown of petrification is to slow.. how can this be.. while you using speed up
Mmm, no.. the countdown speed is normal here, it is lowering by 1 every 4 or 5 attacks. Keep in mind that Edea is max level, full Triple junctioned to SPD puts her around 160 SPD, and Mad Rush is applying Berserk, Haste and Protect. Her ATB gauge is very fast and attacks queued instantly. Are you implying I have some kind of mod? 🤔😂 I'm on PS4 here btw.
@@sigh9719 ur game speed fasten 3x.. but the countdown too slow for the gamespeed x3.. somethings fishy
@@jhaygamingislifeytchannel lol Do the setup yourself. You can do it too. It's good XP and AP for leveling the GFs (unlocked up to this point in the game) and their abilities. Anyone can do this. And no lol... it is counting down just as it should, my friend.
I needed this.
Well, I'm glad I could help one person at least! XD

If you like, use my Notes (or make your own similar) to help learn, memorizing the twists and turns of this maze. Going over these while watching my slower Walkthrough as well as this TT will probably help understand these haha.. Reflect spell junction to SPR is better then curaga
Ah yeah, I believe I had probably been checking Reflect's usefulness on Status Defense, found I didn't think it was best for this setup, and pulled it off. I just didn't think to re-junction it elsewhere. haha 😁 It isn't a huge difference anyhow, I believe it's a difference between base 65 for Curaga and 70 or 72 for Reflect? Main danger in this farm is being too slow on the setup, which will allow the Stone timer to completely tick down.
It's been awhile since I set this up.. But I recall I was fiddling and trying to find a balance between speed and consistency (common theme in speedrunning, not that I speedrun). This is a pretty quick XP/AP grind for GFs (all of them that you can unlock up to this point), for a Low Level Game.
@@sigh9719 i like to grind in lalapalooza canyon. Near Deling theres a train station near the edge of the desert, if you go directly north and intonthe cliffs, thats the canyon. You can fight lefty, righty and visages there. They give about 12ap and a ton of exp. Also a great place to draw farm useful spells
@@tasselhoff1293 Hmmm. So are you leveling a character/characters there, then? At what point in the game do you do that? I chose this spot, here, to level my GFs, and let Edea soak up the XP which I didn't want my characters to acquire; a low-level (minimim XP) game. I believe it's the last point in the game where you have the opportunity, with a guest character, to do this.
@@sigh9719i never use selphie, so i use her as my mule to unlock things like str and mag bonus. Then normally, ill level all my characters to lv. 30-33 right before ingo get the sword from the tomb of the king. Ill have str Bonus from ifrit by then so its a good way to power level someone with like 30lvs of str bonus (kill off other 2, kill righty lwfty and visage, get about 700-1100exp based on lv) also a good way to farm Diablo "mug" ability. Try it out next playthrough if you enjoy leveling and not playing low lv games, its a good spot :)
You know GFs level up faster if you spread them out, even on unconscious characters.
Yep : ) I believe I had everything packed on her here because this was from when I was just power-leveling her for a bit and needed more Junction abilities, hard to recall. Once I maxed Edea I spread the GFs to then level them optimally, as I show in another video ^.^
th-cam.com/video/ZcwHCH3j16A/w-d-xo.html
Does it work for ps1
Yeah, nothing special about this setup which would prevent it from working on PS1. The main thing you would have to make sure of would be that soft resets always give you a Marlboro on your first battle, and I believe it will. Since I'm playing the Remaster here I had to "Exit Game" instead of soft resetting. You just won't have the turbo speed.
How come I am supposed to distribute the GFs? Also, I heard that I am not supposed to level up Diablos, is that true?
Interestingly, GFs receive experience even if junctioned to KO'ed characters. Also, experience is divided to all GFs junctioned to the same character. So if you have all GFs junctioned to one character they're receiving less, they get a smaller share than if you divide them between all party members. So give Edea just what she needs and no more. The setup I show here seemed fairly optimal to me. Regarding Diablos, I don't know how not leveling him can help you later in the game. I don't know absolutely everything about FF8 but I'm fairly well versed. Never heard anything like that, but it could be some strategy I don't know about.
@@sigh9719 Should I also give GFs to party members that are not participating in battle?
Ahh, no, since backline characters never receive experience from battle, GFs junctioned to them will not receive any either. ^.^
@@sigh9719 thanks for all the info!
Happy to help : )
When she attacks Edea says "Boop."
Man why didn't you make any more videos is it because you weren't making any cash or because you didn't get any views. I wish you did it just to do it and didn't care about views or money
Lol? I upload a random vid now and then, when I feel like it. I don't care about the views or money. : )
Holy shit. 1, 1 , miss, 1... I'd have left
