Towards the beginning I was sure there was an unseen euphonium playing but it was apparently the horn doing a fine euphonium impersonation.

For a nonet, which is a musical group of nine, that's rather impressive! However, nothing beats the U.S. Marine Band's recording of the _First Suite_ and the Cleveland Symphonic Winds' recording of the _Second Suite,_ both of which Frederick Fennell conducted.

I really miss percussion, especially in the finale from the first suite.

Greatly enjoyed meeting and working with Carlyle Weiss only a couple of times, but I was so impressed with his work and musicianship. U of Wyoming was very fortunate!!!
