a good, easy lead into a technique i found for most story characters is the Y follow up (on xbox controller) when your opponent is getting launched, into the dash rush. for example, if you throw in the air, you can just hold the charge button and input the dash rush, and it'll automatically follow up with the combo extenders, then let you chase them down when the extenders are finished
