Take your swing pattern to the next level by adding in the hi-hat and bass drum. Fluttering the bass drum helps add rhythmic drive. You can also use the bass drum to help make a two feel out of your swing pattern.

    This is even cooler if you add the octave so you get a 4 note grouping

      @@seattlejazzacademy As they all come from the C maj scale it might be better to play the 7 first. And ofcourse you can aply this on all sorts of scales, try minor melodic
