We are Gust & Melissa, we are in the middle of putting our house up for sale so we can runaway from the rat race. We live in Kalamazoo Mi. raising chickens, ducks and maintaining a large garden within the city limits.
Our History :
Gust is a Native American Indian mixed with Polish. Was raised up as an Air-Force brat until his teenage yrs then moved back to Michigan and worked on many small farms. He became a master mechanic in the automotive field, then became a Senior Master mechanic in the industrial field.
Melissa came from 3rd generation family that has stepped away from the Amish Heritage. She was raised on gardening, raising small animals to show and make their way to a dinner plate. Then became a parts manager, then decided to join the U.S.P.S to deliver mail.
We both have kids from previous marriages, for a total of five kids. Which are now young adults raising their families. We currently have three grandchildren. We are taking our skills and running away to the country.
