I had a love/hate relationship with my latest Bernina because of troubles with the bobbin. In the end I bought a new Janome. Not so sophisticated but user friendly.

I put clear 3M tape over all of my holes in my Bernina.

I got the pink fabric just like you. It's so pretty and cheerful. I'm thinking I want a blouse this time, so since I have the larger box, that leaves lots of fabric for a simple skirt, and maybe I can even squeeze some elastic waist capris or shorts out of the scraps with a bit of creative pattern placement. From the last 2 boxes, I managed to get a short sleeve button-up shirt for my husband and a dress for me from each fabric. I actually have the Kinjarling cut from the boat and anchor fabric from a couple of boxes ago along with his shirt. My husband doesn't get to share this pink fabric though. Lol. Although he would tell me that he would wear it.

I received the other colourway but swapped for the pink, not too sure what I will make, maybe leave it until next spring

I just received the other color way but yours is also fabulous. I was thinking about the Marnie by Tilly and the Buttons or the Fringe dress by Chalk and Notch. The other thing I was thinking was a shirred back sundress but not sure of a pattern for something like that.

The patina came out so well! Such a shame you had issues with some makes but nothing you can’t overcome I’m sure x Your waves and wild trousers came out so well and perfect for the holiday with that tank top too! Your Fleur robe is lovely! I found the sleeves waaaay too long too so and so wide so I ended up putting elastic in the cuff and I wear mine every day 😂 Your stripes are perfection 🌈 ❤❤

Yay! Nearly holiday time. I'm watching you while recovering from a horrid cold, so when you said you'd worn your dress out I thought you meant you’d worn it to death not out out! 😂 I blame the cold. Have a lovely time in Florida. My Sorrento is coming with me to my Mum's later this week so that hopefully I will just need to put the buttons on when I get back home. Looking forward to catching up with you and our mystery friend next month! Xxx

I love your T-shirt dress- both thr fabric and the design. All your makes are lovely too. I hope you enjoy your holiday in Florida.

Why don’t you make new front waistbands to fit the width material you have and then insert some elastic? It may not be the exact look you had intended but it’ll fit better and probably won’t show that much as your tummy will be pulling the fabric straighter. I have a similar issue and I’ve done this with some shorts, I’ve also fitted a jersey waste band with elastic in for added stability. I used to have a 36-26-36 figure but unfortunately I’m less hourglass and more snowman now 🤣
