I’m not sure what the problem is but my hair isn’t hairing like it used to. I don’t use Mielle, I use two Camille Rose products. It’s breaking and wayyyy kinkier than it used to be. I used to be able to run my fingers through my hair and now it’s brittle and barely moves. My buns and ponytails barely slick back. I also use Aunt Jackie’s don’t shrink gel and it doesn’t gel like it used to. I thought it was just me.

Has anyone realized yet that people are having a lot more hair and scalp disorders since jumping on the natural hair community bandwagon? This whole thing was a money grab like no one has ever seen before. Everyone online is just selling you products that create issues with your hair so they can sell you more products to “fix it”. We should not be having all these hair products, especially scalp oils, that was load of nonsense. Leaving oils on the scalp is the quickest way to developing a scalp infection and later balding. It’s not going to stop at Mielle Organics, people keep playing around in their hair without knowing the actual science of the things they’re doing and then wanna complain that their hair is still always dry, brittle, they have scalp irritation, bald patches, like come on when are we gonna put 2 and 2 together? We don’t need all these products, and we never needed “natural hair” products, hair is hair, stop having an emotional response to everything, cause now we’re negating science and destroying ourselves
