Hi thank you for your comment. I have just found a E Thomas & Williams LTD miner's lamp like the one you have. With the top cone made out of steel. In 1930-1945s The British Arny needed all the copper & brass they could get. So companies in the UK who was using copper & brass went over to using steel. I have 2 paraffin boiling stove the same make one base is made out of copper and the other is made out of steel. This is when i was told about the shortage of copper & brass in England. To get the surface rust off your lamp. I would use steel wool No 0000 ultrafine this will take the surface rust off and look Amazing when done. The starting price on your miner's lamp is £70.00. That's what i have just seen on Ebay. Someone told me the other day about lighting the miner's lamp without taking the bace off. Please do not try this with a lamp like mine. If you put AC current on this lamp the lamp will become live or the fuse will blow. They did make a miner's lamp with 2 steel rods in the base that went up to the wick and one rod was covered in ceramic. And that would give you the electric ark you would need to light the lamp.

@@ibsn87 Hi you are welcome. I have just found a miner's lamp same as the one you have selling for £149.00. I would keep your miner's lamp. buy a new wick and use C1 paraffin it burns clean and no smell. And you will save by not having to use candles. If you use that steel wool No 0000 ultrafine on the serface rust. The miner's lamp will come up Amazing and be a very nice peace of British history to keep hold of. I have used steel wool No 0000 ultrafine on serface rust on steel and i got it up like a mirror.

@@daz.r1994 I think you are right, it’s pretty darn cool. I often like to have candles at dinner and this could be a replacement for that. I always assumed it was kero fuel, I am unable to unscrew the base. Thanks to TH-cam I can see exactly where it screws, I’ll have to have another go at opening it. I’ll have to track down some c1 paraffin. Thanks for the tips!!

@@ibsn87 In the UK we call it paraffin. So it looks like you need C1 Kerosene. What i have been using from 2021 is. UN1223 C1 Kerosene. ( Premium Paraffin ) BS 2869 Class C1. I use this paraffin in the house for. cooking, heating. and my paraffin lamps. All the time now. It only cost me £2.00 to heat my house for 12 hours on 1 leter of paraffin. It has been great.

@@daz.r1994 it shouldn't there is metal on bottom that used to connect to a sparker so any electric spark to that peice sticking out of bottom should light it without needing to unscrew unless you need top up fuel ...

Hi i picked 1 up for £75.00. And the other one that come with stand and Valor 65-S boiling stove for £150. I have just looked on Ebay for you and found 1 in Amazing condition and it's £325. At the start of this year i see a Valor No 111 Junior oven they wanted £300 for just the oven and it was in a bad way. I dont use a electric oven now.

Yes that is what they told me. I wanted to take the Hedgehog to them so they could sort it out. I did my best for the Hedgehogs and got it some 100% natural Diatomaceous earth.

Hi Steve. Yes i boil the water and when the steam goes into the bucket to the coil. The ice and cold water in the bucket will turn the steam to clean drinking water. This will be great if it works with my British No12 stove.

Hi. Thank you for watching. Here are all the places to get your Beatrice stove up and running. Flexoid gasket paper A4 sheet 1mm thick. I cut 2 gaskets out for it to fit nice made it 2mm thick.I picked the gasket paper up from Ebay. The wick is 100mm wide. I would buy your wicks and Mica from bace-camp.co.uk. At the time i rebuilt my Beatrice stove i picked all the parts up on Ebay. Hope this will help you get your Beatrice stove up and running Jim. I used my Beatrice stove from 2021 to 2023 every day it's great stove.

This is great to heat you have been using a Megahome destiller for over 6 years. I will never stop using my Megahome destiller. I have been using pink organic Himalayan salt just in my food. I will be picking up some Celtic salt next week. How much Celtic salt do you put in 4L of destilled water. I see on Ebay today their is 4 Megahome destillers to buy at minute. Why they would be selling them when they are one of the best i don't know. Thank you for watching my video.

@@daz.r1994 I put 2 shakes into each 16 oz tumbler of water. Seems to work great. Even healed my troubled kidneys.

@@daz.r1994 2 shakes is about a 1/8 tsp. I've added about 1 tsp a day to my diet. it works.

Thank you Steve. People should know what they are drinking out the tap water. This is why i did the tests. But what i found out today about tap water just did new video today. Steve when you are out at yard sales look out for MegaHome destillers for you and all your family.

@@doinsngoins Thank you Steve. This is why i did a 1 year test. I would of drunk all that stuff in them bottles if i did not have the megahome destiller to take all that stuff out in one year.

@@doinsngoins I had to do a lot of research Steve. I got up at 3am looking for the video what this guy said in 2021. That made me look into cleaning tap water. I will keep looking for this video and when i find it i will do a destiller update and put the name of the video and the time to watch from. You can hear what comes out his mouth.

These will last years now Steve. And they work well.

They say its to cool the planet down Steve. When them lines open up it blocks out the sun. And it did for 4 days. We had lovely blue sky on the 28/6/24 then they did this on the 29/06/24. They do it at night so people don't see what they are doing looks like they mest up on this one. It's what they call chemtrails. I would be called a conspiracy theoery for saying this.

Hi. Coleman did make a oven the same as this one but i think it was for the gas burners. I only use paraffin burners. This oven was for winnerwell wood burner. As you can see it works with my Valor 65s paraffin burner. I will try for you on my Optimus 155 two burner. Think i will only need to use 1 burner. Thank you for watching.

That's great. these are lovely lamps. Had this one over 25 years now and never lets me down when i need to use it.

I have seen these lamps go for £55.00 up to £175.00. I picked this lamp up in 1998 and it has never let me down.

Hi Ken. I have only had my heaters on low. For 12 hours it's 1 litre or just over of paraffin. When i first started heating my house it was £1.28 for 1 letre of paraffin to heat my house for 12 hours now its just over £2.00 a litre. I just did a test on my British No12 Army stove and i got 5 days hot water 2 times a day and heat 1 meal a day. So that was £2.00.

Hi Ken. Yes i would only use C1 kerosene. I have been using C1 kerosene in the house for heating and cooking it's great. I have all window vents open and don't get kerosene / paraffin smell.

Did you sell it? I have one of these the top cone has surface rust. The oval plate on the top cone is stamped 391 The base is stamped 325 and the 2nd tier base is SCHED B EA1 with a 91 stamped on the side. Is this thing of any value? You look like you may know about them. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!🙏 (Australia)

Hi. I picked the fan up off ebay. The one i have was the last one. Just look for wood burner 6 blade stove fan you will see other sellers. I have a update on this heater and fan. I will do the video soon but i have a lot on at the minute. It has worked very well at moving the heat around.

Yes it is the same. If you want to use paraffin heater in house. Only use. C1 Premium Paraffin Class C1 as it is very clean paraffin and your house will not smell when burning the paraffin. You must have all air vents open on windows when burning paraffin.

Hi. Thank you for watching. Valor made these heter & stoves. The wick you will need is W44. You can pick them up from. base-camp.co.uk. These sell a lot of parts and wicks for paraffin heaters / stoves/ lamps.

Thanks a lot. I found a shop here in Nicosia Cyprus that still maintains kerosene heaters, so took it and replaced the wicks and cleaned the tank. Now I have it in my office. Heat is ok, not as good as the Japanese Toyoset that dish out huge amounts of BTU and which I have been using for over 10 years now, but it looks great and boils a kettle of water easily@@daz.r1994

Has your one got the holes in the top of the oil lamp like my one. It sounds like when you screw it all together it's cutting the air off for the flame so it will go out. You can try screwing it together then un screw half a turn. Let me know if this works.

@@taospencer1403 Thats great has it got a flat wick or round wick. I think you would need a new wick as it may be old or the wick is not sitting at the bottom of the font. I always buy new wicks. When i pick up a oil lamp. Check the wick is sitting at the bottom of the font. You cant go wrong with C1 paraffin and a new wick should light all the time.

​@@daz.r1994Replica ones got a round wick around 4mm thick, thanks for the advice. fuel I'm using at the moments giving off loads of black smoke, so I'll definitely get some new wicks & try see what the C1 fuel stuff is...

@@taospencer1403 Hi your wick is to high. If the wick is to high you will get black smoke. If you are using new paraffin you would be ok. C1 premium paraffin is a very clean burn with no smell and is great to use in the house with all air vents open on your windows. I heat my house & cook food boil water & use lamps as well just using C1 premium paraffin. Hope this has helpped you let me know.

Steve this garlic was 65p each and that was from the market i was a bit shocked. I will have to grow my own garlic soon. They did say last week UK veg was going up in price.

@@doinsngoins Pick some black garlic up Steve your love it as you like garlic. I now eat black garlic every day on it's own. And i add it to my dinners. I have some black garlic just come in. 1 is 90 days fermented black garlic and the other is 120 days fermented black garlic. So i can see what the difference is between my 12 day fermented black garlic i made.

Hi i have seen a chap in America rinning paraffin heaters and lamps on diesel he light them outside then take them in the house as it smells when you light them up. I would just stick with C1 Premium Paraffin BS2869 Class C1. As it only cost £2.00 pounds for 1 litre of paraffin for 12 hours heat that beats house electric or gas. And it dont smell. It's my therd winter using paraffin heaters and paraffin lamps. I now cook only using paraffin as well.

@@DB201111 Great to use in greenhouse. If you keep the wick clean and dont run it out of paraffin. The wick will last a long time. If you run the heater dry of paraffin you will lose about 5mm of wick so keep the tank topped up. A lot of the Valor heaters come with a gauge so you can see when the paraffin is getting low.

Thank you. The Aladdin model 32 is a great heater & stove. Have you seen the video where i have added a stove fan. As you live in Kurdistan see if you can pick up a wood burner stove fan. It's a game changer for Kerosene, Paraffin heaters. You will feel the heat being moved around the room.

The water is destilled water. Did you see the ticks after i take the plate off.
