@@cfnp-m2995 TL PVP system is deeply flawed. It goes beyond just damage. Evasion, CC land rate, CC duration, how traits work, and the drop rate of T2 armor ruin the PVP scene later in game. You will have much more fun with blue and T1 purple, rather than with T2. :D Depending on the Milestone system, that might be 1-2 months later in the game.

@@cfnp-m2995 Look I love the game as it has plenty of content. If you are NOT hardcore PVP, you WILL love the game. Imo you should definitely try it out, for the first 2 months its gonna be a blast. I am not expecting NC to change it because it is built around this - to make you spend money again and again and again. Starting from inventory slots, to anti-cc gems, to battlepass, to level pass, to you-name-it pass, to gear from auction house. Also, it's very weird that the only people who say "the p2w is not that much" are either people who have spent 10k-50k USD in the game, or they do not PVP.

Hi mate! This is a General's set T1. Nothing serious. Regarding weapons I use Nirma & Adentus. Generally I didn't farm a lot bc this was in Korean Hyperboost - no point more committing time. Regarding armor traits, go for HP + 2 Endurances!

I do not like aimlock, but we do NOT know yet when/if it will be implemented. :D Let's see what they do.

Hi bro! Regarding aim assist of NW: I am not too worried about it, as we do not know for sure how it will be implemented. They can easily change the tracking and make it less/more "sticky". Let's see the next few weeks how they implement the feedback. The same applies for all the info we have from datamining. It's EASY to leave out certain parts of the gameplay, so that they do not leak. People who have done coding, can confirm how easy it is. I see various guys in YT getting crazy about stuff we simply do NOT know yet. Regarding TL and NW: I love BOTH games. If you are mainly focused on PVE, you will absolutely LOVE TL. It's a more complete MMO, and since you do NOT compete in PVP, you will not feel the p2w. If you are mainly focused on PVP, then you will absolutely LOVE NW. It's a far more fair + balanced combat system, which rewards skill over gear. My rationale is as follows (also mentioned in another comment): In New World: 1) There is NO RNG. If you cast root on someone, he WILL get rooted 100% (unless ofc he is immune). Think of it like League of Legends: You can expect your skills to work 100% of the time and PLAN AHEAD, especially on 1vX scenarios. 2) There is NO EVASION. You hit someone, he will take damage. You will NEVER waste skills on someone, you will never waste a combo. You want to avoid dmg? If you got the skills, go for it. Dodge, run, sidestep, block, position yourself better on the field. 3) The combat pace is as fast as it should be. You do not see tanks flying around, assassins disappear and jump across the map, and you do not get strong skill effects that give you epilepsy like in BDO. Note: It could be just me, my eyes hurt when playing BDO. 4) Even if someone spends 100k USD on the gold selling websites, a good pvper WILL beat him, even naked. I have video in this channel beating Rank 1 while I am naked! Unfortunately, in TL we have examples of streamers spending 10k-40k USD to buy gear. It's not something that made me happy, to put it in a polite way. 5) Your damage is CONSISTENT. A light attack does for example 1000 dmg per hit, EVERY HIT (unless crit). It's not like other games (like TL) that damage can go anywhere from 1000-4000. Consistent damage, means that you can PLAN AHEAD how many attacks you need to do, look for cover, defend, get out, or commit further. These are a MUST in 1vX scenarios. 6) Important skills of each class, have PROPER animations --> An AOE stun has a LONGER animation as it can dramatically alter a fight. A Riposte from a Rapier is fast and you can barely see it (you actually LISTEN to the sound to counter it). In Throne, my Shield Dash is so fast that I can push an entire GROUP of players to their death and there is no counterplay, UNLESS RNG. Skills should promote REACTIVE + PROACTIVE gameplay.

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me the combat is one of the main selling points of the game. It feels great and there really isn't anything on the market like it. i was a Mage main for years, but New World turned me into a Tank main. There is something SO satisfying about being surrounded by enemies in The Clump and being able to stay alive.

@@0skillsPVP Tyvm for elaborating! Feels like NW fixes everything we hate in TnL lol Everyone's a teleporting ninja with terraforming attacks in bdo. It looks so jank in large scale content. Also lots of rng and bs mechanics. High value as a solo sandbox though. Yeah i much prefer the more grounded powerscaling of nw. There's clarity in the action unobstructed by particle effects and seems to have an emphasis on skill expression and tight hitboxes haha oct 15 really can't come any sooner.

@@Oryyyt Exactly mate, everyone is a teleporting ninja in BDO. Characters can cover large distances, even as heavy tanks, which is counter intuitive. Large scale has always been an issue in every game, and especially in action combat games such as BDO and NW. I give props to both games for making it happen, and sincerely hope we can scale even further up, while also increasing the quality of the gameplay during mass pvp. I sincerely believe that both BDO & TL are MORE complete MMOs, as the amount of content they offer is larger than New World. I also sincerely believe that Amazon has done a terrific job on their FIRST game ever, and can continue to build technology and assets which can be implemented on their new LOTRO game. And let's not forget, there has NOT been another MMO, in the history of MMOs, in which a naked character can beat fully geared players. @pascaldota has videos of him being 43lvl, and killing a GROUP of max leveled characters too! :D P.S. : Thank you everyone for the constructive conversation! 😍

I was watching videos of it but did not play! To be honest, I think this build could thrive in the new zone, right? New PVP zone seems very interesting, and for PVPers, this will become their home! I noticed DX12 and animation change, which are expensive to do - so I am hopeful for the future. :D

@@0skillsPVP I was absolutely crushing other players even at low levels, so yeah I expect the build will thrive in the new zone. I was quite cynical and jaded about the future of this game, but the open beta, the response from console players, and the fact that the game was overhauled as much as it was gives me hope for the future of it as well. I am definitely looking forward to roaming the new PvP zone. It will definitely be my second home.

@@river7874 Same here mate, I had literally given up on the game, as I thought AGS will focus exclusively on the new LOTRO game. AGS actually surprised us, polished the game, added new animations and DX12, and will deliver the launch NW deserved 3 years ago! Hahahaha good to see it had success even at low levels. Was trenchant recovery the key? :D I think that HP regen is the thing that makes the build stand out. As you said, console players actually embraced the game, and on PS5 charts New World is number 12 globally on RPG pre-orders! Who would have thought?

@@0skillsPVP Trenchant recovery definitely helps. Though I was rocking sub-optimal Faction gear and still slaying players left and right while being a general nuisance. And yeah the HP Regen is a huge boon to the build. I can regen more HP than a lot of players can dish out to me. I love it.

Well mate, to be honest, everyone does. What you see is a combo of anticipation, positioning, skill, timing AND luck. Imo, the most significant thing would be to have consistency, first by fighting 1v1, then 1v2, 1v3 and so on. :D

I've seen this man run this build since day one. He mastered it, he perfected it. Consistency is surely the key!

@@sugrless And if I might add: We are STILL learning new things, even after playing the same build for years! P.S. Wow it's been soooooo long! Time flies. I remember back in the old days, if Guilds saw that a person was playing SNS/GS as a tank, they thought he was trolling and was not selected for Wars etc.

When you start playing a build like this, expect that you WILL get stomped into the ground repeatedly until you get used to the build, acquire better gear, and learn to fight multiple players at once. You should 100% be picking fights where you are outnumbered as the build thrives when you are surrounded by enemies. For one thing, it's good practice for learning how to fight multiple enemies at once. For another, the build gets stronger the more players you can hit(And the players you kill will definitely bitch about your build taking "No skill" when the reality is quite the opposite.) If you can persevere and learn from your deaths you will become damn near unstoppable with this build. In OPR, it is mandatory that the opposing team focuses their fire on me. If I'm left alive I become a menace that can hold off half of their team on my own, while the rest of my team breaks the doors down again. 🤣

@@river7874 @randomdude-yep Agreed 100% Expect to be absolutely destroyed at first. 1) Learn the enemy skills that actually MATTER vs you --> Rend, Weaken, Disease. Learn the animations and SAVE your stamina for that 2) Make sure you START your heavies while the enemies are hitting you, so that u can block, hit, cast rend, and cast Fortify at the same time. 3) As u see in the vid, as soon as I jump from the fort, I make sure my team survives. Then I jump ahead to make sure that enemy HEALERS and MAGES spend their important skills on me --> Healing circle, Riposte, Fireball etc. After they do, I go chase another healer/mage. Then I see my team is losing so I jump in again to the centre. I am alone, I know I will die, but I will make them suffer for it. 4) The build shines when you fight MULTIPLE melees at the same time. You might notice that fighting 2 people, is easier than fighting 1! That is because your Shirking Heals proc, and your Trenchant Recovery happen more frequently.

It's a simple Grand General set, Sword is Nrma's and GS is Adentus! :D Basically it works no matter what weapons you have. Before the Adentus, I was using Magnaduke taunting blade.

Never tried the Wall, and I dont right click (block), so I wouldn't know. Normally one should not get points for doing nothing though. :D

It has Counter Attack perk because the perks REMAINS even if we swap weapons. So I get 30% extra dmg, even when I am defending with GS :D

The specific arena is cool. The other arena which is just a plain field sucks. The main issue is the P2W and the evasion. P2W players stack a lot of evasion and you cannot land any hit or CC. Also, the time to kill is 2-3 seconds :(

Hi bro! Yeah you are correct regarding the boots! Instead of double energizing counter, it should be shirking heals. Made the mistake cuz I was using the artifact GS before. Now I switched back to a more defensive build. The reason I picked the SPECIFIC kite shield, is because the perk "Counter Attack" REMAINS even if you switch weapons. So if you block and switch to GS, you will hit 30% harder for a few secs!

I think you are absolutely right. In later vids you will notice that I have it. You know, every day I am testing slightly new stuff. :D

Nothing beats NW combat. Also the dmg systems are way better in NW. In NW, there is no evasion and accuracy, so you can actually strategize and anticipate moves. In TL, it's RNG misses which is very annoying and caps skill ceiling.
