I love those books. I was so sad that Robert Jordan died before he finished the story. Just for those who don't know another author who was also a fan finished the series after being contacted by Robert Jordans wife
Who is even watching the show at this point? I haven’t seen or heard anyone talk about season three I don’t think anyone cares anymore, which is sad because wheel of time is one of the best book series ever written, which can’t be said for this adaption😢
On board with access key (or just directly the choeden kal). Though according to WotUp apparently they’ll be calling it something else (won’t spoil it but it’s in a couple of his videos including the breakdown). I also wonder, it looks like shes just in this moment handling it - yet it’s also not (??) in from Rhuidean - why? What’s she trying to do? Is this after some battle analogous to the end of tSR?
They weren't made by the same gods of the Tolkien universe. The Balrog's (there are multiple)was just a Maier corrupted by Morgoth and Gandalf wasn't and is just a regular Maier
In the movie he rescued Han, Luke was as close to certified knight as you can get post republic. He was on the verge of becoming a master he did most of his trials by this point and was most likely the strongest Jedi in recorded history by the end of it.
That makes a lot of sense. I mean, just look at the shape of the Darksaber. Maybe that’s how all lightsabers more or less look, but we can only see it on the Darksaber because of its unique color.
So if i remember correctly (i probably don't) but vaders armor was designed to withstand an attck by a lightsaber and blaster. The box in front of his suit was weak against lightning
If lightsabers had an edge, then the handles wouldn't be designed to be complete circular cylinders. Look at swords throughout history, you'll notice that the handles are never completely circular. They're more oval shaped or even rectangular. This is to help the user fit the sword in the hand properly so you can feel where the edge goes without having to look at it.
Nah not really, at the start of the video u see how the OG cuts the door and he doesn’t adjust the saber to it’s “Edge” so it can cut through but as you saw he doesn’t so logically there is no edge
The armor was reverse engineered from a large creature that has impenetrable scales. Also the armor designs for higher ups tended to include some form of beskar alloy. Besides there is a light saber that is shaped like a katana proving your theory incorrect. Also a stab is different in strength than a slice. If all light savers were thin blades why do they leave perfect circular holes Maybe watch / read more about the clone wars. You have good curiosity and processed thoughts. The more you know! ✨ ⭐
If you look at the first time we ever see a lightsaber on screen, when Obi Wan hands Luke his fathers lightsaber on Tatooine, you can literally see that it has a blunt and a sharp side. The first lightsaber effect ever literally proved this theory

Heck ya. I started over before wind of truth came out and im reading rhythm of war before starting wind of truth. Strength before weakness
Looking for your reactions to releases, and episodes, once they release. Big WOT fan. I followed you in bsky.
I love both and agree books and TV must do it differently ❤
Put a chick in it and make her gay I was waiting for a wheel of time series since 1993 . And I'm glad I didn't watch any of it
Nah

Ummm 🙋♂️

I also wanna point out when it cuts through the door he specifically stabs the tip in

Obviously there is no personal connection between her and Willow since she isn't even aware he exists until the climax of the movie
Why do fans try and make sense of inconsistencies. They were just mistakes
I think it's more akin to Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the sith, having armor that is lightsaber resistant.
In one of the manuscripts Gandalf referred to the Balrog as Cousin
Interesting theory.you have earned a cookie,🫴🏻🍪
So in the sequels they use all round light sabers no edge no just a circle....good to know
Wait, wait wait, this is actually
that actually makes sense since the dark blade which is black therefore can't glow brightly has a visable blade
Better question: how the flippin banthas did maz find Anakin’s lightsaber after Luke got his hand cut off
Plot convenience
DARTH MALL ?
He forgot about durasteel and the other materials capable of stopping/slowing down lightsabers. Everything after the Disney has been unreliable
Dartvader suit is lightsaber proof this is canon
The correct answer lies in your hands. There is no edge. You don’t have to imagine. The creator placed something for your thumbs to grab.
You can see the person cutting the door turning the blade as he cuts the door
That actually makes sense
LUKE I AM YOUR MOTHER
So that’s why nobody dies in Star wars after the original trilogy
In the movie he rescued Han, Luke was as close to certified knight as you can get post republic. He was on the verge of becoming a master he did most of his trials by this point and was most likely the strongest Jedi in recorded history by the end of it.
GENIUS
Not only that, but Gandalf and the Balrog are both FIRE Maiar.
Soo what? Gandalf was acting here all tense and edgy?

Vader had lightsaber-resistant armor. Enough to survive a glancing blow.
The original design of a lightsaber was a sword! the jedi used the force to combine the blade and kyber crystals
Tell me why I actually see it
So if i remember correctly (i probably don't) but vaders armor was designed to withstand an attck by a lightsaber and blaster. The box in front of his suit was weak against lightning
This works for movie adaptations but for comics and animated series this doesnt track but honestly thats fine.

Dog it’s called armor
I feel like that’s not what George Lucas had in mind but it could be true
Interesting theory. Got anything to defend it stronger than, "it would be cool"?
I don't think so because, the black saber is a sword etc
Well, the original design was slamted and flat.. so it makes sense like a sword.
You thought that out way too much........ but your a genius

Durins bane.
The fight with vader his armor was resistant to the lightsabers
