After checking the flow at both check valves located at the rear of the engine, we found the air was not making it into the exhaust side of the system. We found the air ports completely carbon blocked. We found it much easier to remove the sub frame and clean the Ports with the engine cradle out!

Cummins hydro booster removal

Remove the 2 master cylinder bolts, remove the proportion valve bolt, remove the lines from power booster. Inside the truck remove the clip from the rod to the brake petal. Then remove the 4 15mm bolts that hold the booster threw the fire wall. Remove old booster Install : install the 4 15mm bolts that hold booster to fire wall. Final result was the factory wire tampering, bad pin into multi function switch/ wiper switch(Purple/white Pin Under steering cover, That send power to both left and right (Low Beams) High beams will work if this is not plugged in to the connector properly. I started this job with an intermittent complaint that the lights don’t work and the rear tail lights, Cab lights or brake lights never wor...
I did this exact job an cleaned the ports an the manifolds and also replaced the 2 valves up top light was off for a day than came right back do you think my pump could be bad???
So to do this you have to remove the manifold?

Myself as a old school mouse motor Chevy guy old school I just had this code in My 2013 Tarrain I get the carbonized ports. Me I will smooth them out with a drummel tool with fine stone polish the ports less chance of build up nothing to stick to all smooth no enlarging of port , just smooth

For anyone having this problem I was having same problem after all the video's I tried hooking shop vac up to the hose that goes into breather box from secondary air motor suction hose and I reversed and blew air into it next day light is off been off all day

they make coosa 5 x12 sheet just a fyi, i've did that many years ago and the hole stern is coosa board now, I.m putting in 500hp each cummins made new beds and by coosa and aluminum beds for them, I rounded the forward berth opening made the hole boat open up and much more room

No, the job can be completed without removing the engine. The space is tight however you can get the job done.
