just started the journey to try to get the vsg through kaiser, dr referred me to the program so I have online orientation thursday and then I know I have 10weeks of classes. hopefully surgery by jun-august

I had Gastric bypass surgery 9 years ago, I started at 255-I lost weight before surgery which I weighed 179, I am currently 113 and I'm 4'11. I do want to say this I still get full and my stomach is still small, i can only eat 4 or 5 bites of food. I really haven't had any issues with my surgery but make sure you all take your vitamins. I must say you only have one life and I do love trying new foods with my husband and kids. I don't restrict myself of anything because that would make you binge eat. I love trying a bite you know that first bite is satisfying and that is all you need. I still get dumping on sweet foods , or greasy foods. I want to congratulate you for picking your health.
