I wonder what percentage of customers have 2 Zapperboxes. I like the device, but they aren't cheap. I think I'll stick with one box. I'd like to see internet access enabled to a box. That would be a huge upgrade.

It's looking more "user friendly" Thank you. I am still waiting for our local television station to be done with their relocating of the tower.

I've been thinking about something as we all eagerly await the new firmware update for the ZapperBox 3.0. Imagine this: what if this upcoming firmware could allow us to wirelessly share a live OTA signal from one ZapperBox M1 to others around the house? Is this something that could actually be on the horizon with the next firmware release? Could this be the feature that takes our setups to the next level, or are we still a bit far from that? If anyone on the ZapperBox team-or anyone in the know-can shed some light on this, it would be great to hear your thoughts. Could this be something we might see soon, or is it just wishful thinking?

MULTIROON QUESTION.. EACH BOX HAS A DIFFERENT ANTENNA CONNECTED COULD THIS WORK .ALL BOXES RECIEVE CHANNELS FROM DIFFERENT ANTENNAS ???

Thanks for clarifying that the Zapperbox can only decode the Audio into 2 channel PCM. There is much misinformation out there that claims that it can decode it and send it to the receiver as Multi channel PCM. So the big question is regarding the multi channel Dolby AC-4 audio, If we select Pass Through, how will the receiver be able to decode it since no receiver is able to decode AC-4 at this time ?? Keep in mind we want Multi Channel audio not Stereo.

Hola zapper box yo retengo mi box puesto en el segundo paso y el audio que me da es DOLBY AUDIO TRU.HD es super nítido la barra d sonido lo identifica com DOLBY ATM com también hay canales en inglés que trasmiten audio secundario en SAP y lo puedo oír en español sobre los CC no tienen disponibles el CC.3 que son subtitulada en español el canal que lo ofrece por lo demás todo es super se que han trabajado mucho para hacer d zapper box la mejor caja d nexgentv ATSC3.0

Can a zapperbox be used without an Internet connection????

My dual box downloaded the 2.7 but I didn't have time to look at it. When I went to check it out, it had reverted back to the 2.6 It was ok though because I was doing some updated to our home network and had to change the network. I'm watching. 🙂

It seems there is a similar question. Is a 2nd full zapperbox required ? Attached to its own antenna feed. More tuners would be great, but setting up another full zapperbox will be very expensive.

i would like the zapperbox to allow the PC and your Phone to find it ..the issue i got is i got too much tv recording now i dont have all the time to watch ..and the second units should be a gateway from the original ..not a 2nd unit needing an antenna and a second dual tuner ..idk i dont own a second tv ..but a puter monitor ..im so confused ..lol..but if a second zapperbox is needed ..thats expensive per tv ..a phone dongel version would rock

So will we have to buy an additional ZapperBox or will there be a different hopefully lower cost unit??

$2200!?!?! ARE YOU NUTS? The same 8TB hard drive sells for $150 on Amazon. That's a $1950 markup. NOBODY WITH A BRAIN is going to pay that price. Or is the Right Angle Adapter that expensive? Sell it for $400, and people might just buy them!

So the 1080P, 1080i, 720P, etc will display, but the actual picture shown will be in 4K if hooked up to a 4K tv? I just purchased the 2 tuner model and the picture quality is not very good considering I have a 4K TV. Could not find anywhere to set the resolution on the Zapperbox.

i feel folks should learn old tv's love the zapperbox as well ...the expanded micro sd- to 1tb ..and to learn ..yes a good antenna is great but the zapperbox thrives with a LTE filter that the televes offers...but the filter inline with your current set up that works as well is only 20 dollars...my point is the set up that man is showing is there is or over 4 figures ..ok ..but it only takes almost 400 to start cutting the cord ..your eyes only see so well so a 4k tv not needed ..lol..dont get me wrong the set up i use was nearly 500 bucks ..but i live 1/4 mile away from a repeating 5g cell tower and 500 ft from a million watt power station ..and the LTE filter helps tune my zapperbox flawlessly ..its worth the investment and i have had mine almost a year now and i have watched that brand evolve into something great ..get one and use your old tv ..only a HDMI input is needed..

Thank you I programmed my Roku volume with Zapper! I love my Zapperbox but it will be September before the local ABC finishes moving the new NextGen tower. After that we should be glitch free!

Hooked my new Zapperbox M1 up a little while ago. Not impressed at all. Gets fewer channels than the ATSC 1 tuner in the 7 year old LG 4K tv (not an OLED) it's connected to picks up. Picture quality is horrible. Returning for a refund. IMO do not buy one.

Does zapperbox have a queue of previously viewed channels ?

bug report ..check the closed captioning ..i saw some gebrish text on a few 1.0 recordings ..before v 2.6 so it may be resolved by now...but the update went swimingly :)

Recordings made with older software will be very slow deleting. Newer recordings will be much faster.

One thing I've noticed when deleting a large number of programs is that the capacity gauge does not seem to reflect this opening up of space. It does eventually, and I don't know what triggers it. But I will delete 30 episodes and the gauge won't show any increased space until later. Weird.

Can you do a video on the antenna that you sell? Some people like me, do not have property rights to hang a big one outside. And I do not understand how the channel scan picks up the BB online channels. A few scans picked up something but never presented it in the guide. Can you manually add channels? How? Right now I am only getting 16 channels. Thank you so much!

and now you can add up to a 1tb micro sd storage ..to hold all those recordings ive had a 256gb in mine a year 8 months running the dvr ..works great :) looking forward to those updates
