People are cussing Inuyasha and Kikyo and telling that it's unfair for Kagome. Let me tell you Inuyasha and Kikiyo have been very old couple and the kagome is better version of Kikiyo reincarnated whose soul is the pure kikiyo herself. The revived or returned kikiyo you see in the Inuyasha is made from the some powers of kagome by a witch (shown in the Inuyasha Original series). You people should watch both Inuyasha and the final Act. Both Inuyasha and Priestess Kikiyo were in love. Unfortunately, Naraku created a conspiracy (to get the shikon no tama or shikon jewel) for killing Kikiyo from the behind by shapeshifting as Inuyasha. However, poor lady Kikiyo could never see, she thought it was Inuyasha who killed her. If you look the series carefully Inuyasha was seen promising Kikiyo that he'd become human and marry Kikiyo and Kikiyo also agreed it, so she made a jewel necklace for Inuyasha so that his demonic nature can be tamed. But due to Naraku's conspiracy through his shapeshifting as Inuyaha and wounding Kikiyo from behind. This led Kikiyo believed Inuyasha betrayed her (it was Naraku). This is why lady Kikiyo Dies in the begining of the series and curse Inuyasha with that arrow, as a result Inuyasha went inconscious with the tree. In the final Act, she got to know. Both the love birds wanted progression in their life as both promised (Kikiyo promised him to be her wife and Inuyasha promised to be normal human despite being half-demon) but they were unbound due to Naraku's ill deeds. So, Kikiyo reincarnated as Kagome in order to fulfill her love interest and when she touched the cursed arrow of Kikiyo (her past avatar) which penetrated Inuyasha, he became conscious. So, Kagome is the true soul of Kikiyo who is kind but the Kikiyo you see in the Inuyasha is just made from the black magic by a witch and some part of kagome's soul made the zombified Kikiyo alive (yet it requires soul to be fuelled that is why you can see Kikiyo had soul collectors). I still wonder how pretty masterpiece, the writer and Manga Artist Rumiko Takahashi has made! 🥲💕
