2 night stay? Crikey! I was told it would be just one night, and that seems to be the common wisdom to be found on the net.

You're right, after go’ogling around I didn't realize that Simmy Krotiel's Bigger Blueprint was updated and you can make it bigger even faster, yep, what Simmy suggested before was pretty good, but now it can grow up to 4 ins, I managed 3 ins myself and I feel like a monster lol

I had radiation treatment for prostate cancer. It appears the cancer is gone and my bladder is healed from the radiation treatment. During the healing from 12/15/23 to now (about 5 months) and hospitalized for severe bladder spasms, UTI and bacterial infection. I have had several UTI's, severe bladder spasms. I have an enlarged prostate blocking the urethera. I have had some form of Foley catheter, spanner stent, suprapubic catheter in and out since 12/23. Doctor may I ask a question. Is HOLEP a procedure for me knowing the side effects could be greater due to having the radiation treatments? Thank you if you can answer my question.

I know someone that had a trup and within 3 years the problems came back. I had the holep procedure and the doctor gives me 18 before and problems come back. Don't know why more doctors don't do a hoLEP. I know it takes more training to do a hoLEP, but the results are way better with a hoLEP.

Sorry but this doctor's comments about incontinence and erectile dysfunction being extremely rare is simply untrue. Either he's a stand in actor reading a script written by irresponsible authors or he is inexperienced and hasn't done many prostatectomies. And, he doesn't even mention cancer as one of the reasons for a prostatectomy I had my procedure done in March 2024 due to cancer (Gleason score 9). Do not be fooled by this doctor's presentations, you WILL have urinary incontinence issues and erectile disfunction. Gratefully, I am gaining more and more urinary control but still rely on a pad liner in case I experience accidental leakage/dribbles while at work or while driving. Erectile disfunction is also the case with me but am reassured by my urologist that there are solutions to this in the long run (penile implants, vacuum pump, drugs), but in the short run it is a reality you and your partner will have to deal with together. And I think this "doctor" favors Aaron Rogers not Gerry Seinfeld...my two cents worth!

You had Gleason 9 cancer? Then you probably had a radical prostatectomy, not simple - and may require further therapies to completely heal. I've viewed this doctor's other videos and noted the differences in the surgical approaches. Now, I'm about to have Dr Winter perform my (G7) radical prostatectomy and everything I've seen and spoken about with him provides me with total trust that he is one of the best around. Yes, there are expected downsides but I have confidence these will be overcome with the appropriate time. As the best-recovered guys will tell anyone, a positive attitude is much of the way to maximum recovery. Very best wishes to you :)

TURP - This procedure is more than 10 years old. It is barbaric, primitive, painful, risky and unreliable! Any of the latest procedures do not comply with the progress in medicine achieved in other branches of medicine, take for example heart procedures and angioplasty. None of 10 years old heart operations and procedures are applicable this days!!!!Is it because the least talented people are in urology or because it is about old people who no one cares about?????????

Hmm... Getting discharged 1-2 days after this kind of surgery would not have served me well at all. I am an otherwise very healthy 67-yr-old male (very healthy; no drink, no smoke, no street drugs, felt to be in my mid/late 40s = just shy of a choirboy) who had a non-invasive radical nephrectomy 3 weeks ago. However, I wasn't discharged until 6 days after the operation. Honestly, anything sooner would've required an in-house caretaker, which I did not have access to, so the 6 days were necessary. Post-Op energy level extremely low, but am making slow progress. My appetite is nowhere near what it was - eat like a bird, and I tucker out very easily. Doc says my energy level will eventually return, and I hope he's right. Just doesn't seem so at present.

These urologist are so flippant about the cystoscopy procedure. Like its no big deal. I would bet this guy has never had it done to him. I've had both rigid (under anathesia) and flexible (in the urologist office, just numbing gel). The rigid scope made me pee blood tinged urine for 4 days. Scared the hell out of me. The flexible scope just made it burn for a day afterwards. If these urologist experienced some of the procedures they perform they would have lots more empathy.
