Selfish backward country Australians are selfish people very selfish they won't help you in any way
❤
🫶🏾
Agree with someone earlier:" Home ownership is out of reach of the ordinary folk and there's no respite in the rental market neither its very competitive like going for a job interview . Australia is also prone to natural disasters and unpredictable weather patterns that has repercussions for the availability of fresh produce which drive the costs way high. @ the momen. if youre a single Mum do not migrate too hard and there is no hwlp form government. If your old you need a healthy bank account to afford aged care which is of a high standard, I like aged care here better than South Africa.
Im Australian and i totally agree with u 💯
This is my 1st video of youse and i think ur a cool chick, but DON'T recommend to live here please
❤
Talking about narrow roads over here. I was on a bus once and it like it went down severel narrow roads and the bus took up the entrie road that twice when a car was coming the other direction, it had to wait for the bus to turn off the road before it could dribe on the road itself
IKEA isn't cheap at all. They wanted 90 bucks for a bed side tabel. F*ck that
I travelled from Australia to England once and that was a 24 hr flight
Im an Australian that still lives over here and i so wish i wasnt Australian, i wish i was American. And because i hate being Australian, i LOOOOOOOOOOOVE ur video
More rednecks than prospects.
❤🫶🏾
I lived in Christchurch (from the USA) bad earthquakes!
Thanks so much for the honest chat, super helpful! Recently came back from a trip to London and was shocked at how little I liked it over there (husband is from England). And now Im obsessing over all of these day to day lifestyle differences we have between western countries.💛🧡💛
England way better than australia.
❤
you're wrong and this video is very misleading. i think this things are particular to where you live not all cities/states in australia are like this. Maybe move around before making a misleading video. Yes it's far No things dont cost more unless your buying from america brands. there ebay and amazon which offers free shipping for most product. Theres diveristy. Im nigerian and theres alot of africans here. Australia house and roads are massive. i used to live in uk so trust me, it massive like the size of ameriacan houses. It only the older cities (sydney and melbourne)that have small roads and its just the city area. when you drive into newer areas, everything is so much bigger. The wildlife is not crazy. ameican wildlife is crazy. All you see in kangaroos everywhere and they dont hurt you. Im actually annoyed by the amount of misleading information in this video.
I lmao just what we need to counterbalance all the serious replies people make to presenter .😊😊
well, what do you know ? Australia is not perfect for this american lady. But then of course, you have a choice. People here tend to be white,.... so, should we be sorry for it. ???
You guys are so racist gosh
Lol...everything here is trying to kill you? More people die from horses than from snakes or spiders etc. If WW3 breaks out, you'll be glad you live so far away from the rest of the world....With inner city living, sure most houses are average size. Go rural & they are massive. We have a lot of room, yes, but we need to live near the coast & can't utilise most of the land...
You did a great job! Don't be worried about it. It's sooo helpful to hear the constructive criticism. SOMEONE has to say it, and, hopefully, the Aussies will hear more people out about the things that can be improved. 💯👍
Please can you answer me this question, why do come to Australia?
❤
Good vibe❤
If u want diversity then go outside the tourist places I can tell u went to the centre of the city ur not gonna see different cultures or races more like other tourists and it’s the stereotypical Aussie culture we’re known for but realistically no Aussie lives that life and no actual Aussie lives in those places other than immigrants if they have a lot of money and tourists go to a suburb go outside of the city
Another American complaining that the rest of the world is not the same as home.....Yep. Apparently travel doesnt always broaden the mind.
Australia is a first world country that looks 3rd world.
🫶🏻
Please what is the news about snake
Cost of living is a real issue...
Are you still in Australia? I’ve followed you on IG but haven’t seen any posts. Would really love to connect, Sis!
❤ Thanks for your perspectives!!!
If you are complaining about size, then try living in Hong Kong and see how much space you can get for the same amount you would pay in Australia.
❤
thank you for sharing, you sound American, I am from USA definitely considering moving to Australia
I think it's definitely worth experiencing! I've met so many American expats who love it in Oz and some that eventually moved on. It's really up the individual 😊
❤
How transphobic is Australia?
We don't want them.
Heyyyy! I was wondering what the fight for Indigenous sovereignty is like in Australia?... or do you, for example, know anything about the nature of fighting colonisation and nationalism?
Hey! I don't think I'm the right person to speak on those things as I was only lived there for 5 years. I'm sure there are some wonderful channels by Aboriginal/Indigenous people who could give far more accurate insight into this for you 💕
@@AishaWilsonVlog that's totally fair! Thank you so much!
just a question, Where do you live ??
I can't believe i got to meet you ❤
Knock knock lol. It's cheap to travel in Victoria now. For instance, a bus ticket from Melbourne to Mildura and return is only $16:)
I know this is your experience, but can I point out that 50% of the world lives in the handful of Asian countries you mentioned Thus Australia is actually closer to the time zones, if not actually sharing the time zones, with most of the planet.
Oh yeah Melbourne by far is the shittiest city to live in Australia compared to other cities in Australia is alot more backwards
Sorry to beak it to ya Australia is still the best country in the world to live in better than Canada, england also america
♥️♥️♥️
The distance and time zone issues are interesting. Australians are enthusiastic global travellers and I guess we have grown up with the so-called "tyranny of distance". We don't think its a big deal to fly 8-10 hours to get to an Asian destination; or 15-17 hours to get to north America; or 20-23 hours to get to Europe or the UK. I have visited 69 countries to date ... and counting. Putting covid restrictions aside, between 7 and 9 million Australians travel abroad every year; that's 27-34% of our population! A "Decent economy" you said. That's an understatement! The last release of Australia's National Accounts reported the 110th consecutive quarter of economic growth since Australia's last recession. This represents the longest period of economic growth (27 years) without a recession for ANY developed country in the world since the system of National Accounts was introduced internationally following World War 2. More broadly, and I do not mean to cause offence or be disrespectful, but most of your negatives seem to be focussed on material things. The quality of life we have in tis country means more than the availability of material objects. There's more to life than that. My parents were migrants to this country. They had the choice of UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia. I will be eternally grateful to those two dear souls that they chose this Great Southern Land.
Thanks for sharing your perspective. As I mentioned in the video, one's experience and personal preferences will colour what they consider to be positives or negatives about a place. But overall Australia is a great place to live and I encourage those who are interested to try living there
@@AishaWilsonVlog you are absolutely correct … it’s an entirely personal perspective. What suits one person may not suit anybody else. And as an old Northern Territory tourist slogan said … you’ll never never know if you never never go! 😊
Lol
Hate it that much here ; leave PLEASE
