His voice is too smooth on this new album for my tastes. Like latter period Crooked Fingers. My favorite Bachmann vocals are: White Trash Heroes, Wrong, Tatyana, Call to Love (intentionally processed), Chuck’s Buzz, and Golden Throat.

It's rare that a cover beats the poop out of the original version........but Mick Jagger is probably crying himself to sleep after hearing this! The bass player (Matt Gentling is a demi-god. If you've got a sound system worth a snot---or a loud one with an equalizer....isolate the bass line and max it out..........)........love to know who the producer was

Boy, it has to have been nearly 25 years. But the video reminded me of the only time I got to see anything resembling Archers of Loaf in the form of Eric Bachmann playing as Crooked Fingers in a small bar called the Cactus Club. Surprisingly, it was a light show; attendance wise. So there was a great opportunity to talk with Eric before the show. The Archers were musical heroes of mine which made me somewhat nervous. Nonetheless, we spoke about the, then, final Archers album while drinking a couple of beers. A little later but before he went on, I helped him put his Crooked Fingers vinyl together and we talked more. Feeling inspired, I told him that I had been working on a large ink and pencil drawing wholly inspired by White Trash Heroes as it was the only album I was listening to while I worked on it. I told him I could send it to him when I was finished and he gave me his address and a copy of the vinyl he was selling. Man, was I stoked. So I eventually finished the piece and was unexpectedly hit by a strange double whammy. Not only did I manage to lose his address but the work was stolen after I had lent it out to be briefly displayed as part of some art event. I was crushed. I suppose I just wanted to let you know that I finished it and never forgot about that time at the Cactus Club. Gentlemen, the new album rocks. Thank you.

This whole album is amazing. It's been a really long time sense I've been able to think this. A friend of mine recommended this album and we came to see you in Chicago. I'm hooked and appreciate what you have created for us to listen to and create memories with. Thank you for what you do, it means something, truly.
