True crime and mystery from Alaska, Canada & the Pacific Northwest.
I've alway been interested in true crime, storytelling and the outdoors. Seems like covering stories from Alaska, Canada and the Pacific Northwest is a good fit for my style.
My goal is to create high-quality videos that are well researched, have engaging storytelling elements, and are empathetic toward victims, their families and friends.

In October 1994, a hunter made a gruesome discovery in the woods outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-human remains scattered across the landscape. What started as a chilling mystery would soon unravel into one of Canada's darkest true crime cases.
For years, Indigenous women had been disappearing in Saskatoon, their cases overlooked and ignored. When forensic investigators identified the remains of **Shelley Napope, Eva Taysup, and Calinda Waterhen**, it became clear that these were not isolated tragedies-they were part of a disturbing pattern.
As detectives worked tirelessly to track down the killer, one name kept surfacing: **John Martin Crawford**. A violent predator with a history of brutal crimes, Crawford had managed to evade justice for years. Even under police surveillance, he continued his assaults-while authorities failed to stop him.
This is the story of **the Saskatchewan Murders**-a case that exposed **failures in the justice system, the devastating reality of violence against Indigenous women, and the haunting question of how many more victims remain lost to history.**

RCMP are useless
For sure the police were at fault for not arresting this guy sooner. On the other hand, if I knew women were disappearing I would not put myself at risk by being drunk and getting into a car with a stranger. Living a high-risk life puts you at the mercy of someone like this guy. It doesn't seem to matter how many indigenous women diasappear they keep putting themselves at risk. As long as they continue with these behaviours I don't know how they expect the rest of us to protect them.
As always, superb scripted narration eloquently put across with the perfect amount of poetic licence, this is what a true crime channel should sound like.
This channel will be at a million subs in no time as long as you consistently keep putting out this qualifying content.
There's a rumour that what's actually happening is these people were kidnapped and thrown on a parcel of land only to be hunted down like a wild animal by a group of people who pay to take part in the hunt. Apparently a death bed confession.
There shouldn't BE TRAILS WHERE DEADLY ANIMALS OR BEARS ARE OR WILD ANIMALS WHY WOULD THEY PUT PPL IN DANGER ....I FEEL SO STRONGLY OPIONIATED ABOUT this because my brother went missing he was lost in the forrest and never found almost seven months ago his car was found in. The forrest but he isn't found what are the rangers there for TO SIT DOWN AND DO NOTHING AND GET PAID FOR IT
No why don't they have CAMERAS out in the forrest WIFI WORKS JUST as well in the forrest as it does in normal areas WHATS THE PROBLEM they have cameras everywhere else why not on these trails where ppl are going missing everyday. The have trail cameras for hunters why NOT PEOPLE WHO HIKE OR CYCLISTS who ride or campers who camp whats the problem there shouldn't be ppl getting lost or disappearing there should be some kind of sensor out there that records when someone stands or drives over it all the money in the world and we can't find our loved ones
My sister and her daughter will never see justice. One gone by her own curiousity, my niece, by the govt. Even an ss worker couldn't answer where she went in one day. Never to be heard from again. The govt just swallowed her.
Thank-you for presenting this! You are excellent👍👍👍 I can't believe I had lived in Ca. for 25 years now & never knew about this case is new to me. I hope they find out WHO committed these crimes just like how they caught the Golden State killer!
Such a soothing voice to offset these horrendous crimes ❤
Why was Diana Anderson never a suspect. She was last known person who saw Eric Tamiyasu alive.
Our justice system sucks ass in Canada

Aren’t all women at risk
Whataboutism strikes again!

I always think of these women, and how this story was so washed under the radar. I also would like to see Janet's death to be investigated and them look at the guy who was with John Martin Crawford as a possible suspect as I feel he did it as a copycat. Just my theory on that. As John openly admitted on wire tap to the other but full on denied hers and he really tried to get him to admit to it. Just a thought to bring some justice to her family
There’s a book about him. I believe it’s called “Just Another Dead Indian” .. a woman was walking along the beach and discovered remains and such
Just knew you were gonna talk predominanly about indigenous women!!!!
How did he get them so deep in the woods?
❤❤❤🧡🧡🧡🦅🦅🦅🪶🪶🪶
HOWDY FIRST THE BOSS OF RCMP DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THESE WOMEN AND NETHER DO THE COPS THEY ARE THERE FOR THE EASY WORK AND PAY CHECK ITS NOT JUST THE NATIVE PEOP;E WHO ARE NOT SERVED SO THIS PROBLEM WILL NOT CHANGE BECAUSE OF CORRUPTION FROM PRIMMINESTER DOWN SO SAD GOD BLESS
We knew this creep. My wife who is native and was young at the time, worked with me delivering prescriptions. I would drive and she would go to the door. His mom lived on Avenue Q between 22nd and 23rd street, on the right side of a duplex if I remember correctly. It used to be brown.
Why is it such a big sell and production to call out the murder of ANY group other than WHITES? Why is that? Are White people less valuable because there are more of us or something? Go ahead and try to justify that, I dare you.
Was that list of 100 or so women all missing from Saskatoon? I've lived here my whole life and that seems unlikely. I do know the majority of mmiw are victims of their partners like 84% and 82% of their partners are native themselves.
No that was a list of missing indigenous women for Canada I believe
People will come on here and voice their colonialism ways and report you when you talk back to them on the topic. Talk about having a yellow belly.😅
At that time line. The Liberals where in power (soft on criminals). Systems fail when people are weak and not wanting what would be a final solution. Had the system ended Crawford for the first k!lling. The women would not be in a grave outside the city. Failures are always with the lack to end a bad person. My money is on that fact that Crawford had many more victims. None of them stood a chance against a well established k!ller. This is just Something to remember.
