A look into my life, wrenching, trucking, and excavating. I do a little bit of everything and specialize in nothing. Running old junk equipment and trying to keep up with it all. Thanks for watching.

As you'll see I start getting caught up on things before I go to pick up the frame. Filming started to taper off at this point, I had no time to film at all and was approaching our deadline. Thanks for watching.

LTL9000 Restoration episode 2. Paint where it ain't
Why didn't you paint the hood the same color as the cab?
Were those air tanks hard to get off?
Beauty POV vid. Love the cat sound. I used to drive an 89 L9000 tri axle, 20fa, 48 rocks, w/a 425 and a horseshoe pattern 8 speed like that. My steering wheel had the polished aluminum spokes.
Frankenstein is a Taylor answer
I can sympathize with the DeWalt radio in the cab. My 87 lnt8000 and 97 lnt9000 were built without a radio. Makita jobsite radio got me through a couple AFC championship games while plowing.
dude nice fab work,,,,, that miller would handle that120 easy ..... i think you should paint the hood red or white which ever color you have more of all though the white won't show so many imperfection's or boogers what ever you want call them,,,,,,,,,,,,, probably to busy to get back to the ltl for a while
A lot of work looks good i don’t think you could buy one at the store that rugged!
That was a load of RipRap
What an epic ASMR style ride along! This is just right up my alley! I love how you included part of loading, engine start up, basically raw unedited driving, and dumping off! I could listen to this sound all day, that 3406C is just purring along! I assume you put straight pipes on? Sure sounds like it! Please, please do more raw uncut ASMR style ride alongs like this on this one, as well as on the Sterling and the LTL9000 once it's restored and roadworthy! Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks Sean, she’s got Straight pipes for sure. I love driving this truck and I’ll be doing a ton more ride along style videos in the future, especially when the ltl is done. Thanks for the great comment.
thanks for the update,, keep fighting that rust its a bitch and never ending fight,,,,like the beard trim and stick with the red white and blue,,,,,,,, when you going to start the other truck
Thanks for the comment we will keep up the fight on rust. Im really considering keeping the red white and blue, do you think I should paint the hood white? Are you wondering when I will be back on the ltl??
oh yeah,, you should do led lights inside and out
Great idea. I’ve definitely got some ideas for way more lights
dude luv what you do, i could fall asleep listening to exhaust and turbo wine...... so many questions,,,, you should be proud your a hell of a man
Ask away man I’d love to answer here or I could always answer in another vid.
The rant about the ramp plows is spot on lol
It’s alive!
Thanks for the update
Hurry up and spin off. Nice truck lots of hard work. Now wash it down 👍🏻
Great to see the truck working
its a shame you put all the work into that 9000 and the salt will destroy it if you don,t keep it washed off, i hope you take care of it, and thanks for the videos , i enjoy watching them, not everybody could do what you did, take care buddy
well done,,,,, look at your smile
@@ericjonseof4986 thanks Eric
As someone running 3 full time combos on massdot getting them all ready in time is a great feeling 👍🏻
No kidding James I am glad you can relate. What trucks do you run?
An RD Mack, a 2574 International and a 7600 International, good mix all 10 wheelers, kicker is they sit all summer all frame mounted sanders with wings
@@jameskiritsis4097 Sounds like a good fleet. It’s tough when they sit all summer. It’s amazing how bad it can be for them. We had a 2574 and updated to this ford so we could at least run it a bit during the summer if nothing else it won’t just sit around and rust.
You headline, Restoration a picture of Your Wedding.😅
I don’t know anyone that could have done what you did here!
Getting close to the finish line!
Good truck
Yes you made it on time I thought you were over your head and never were going to hit the inspection date Lot of hard work it came out great I’m impressed And you even got married What a happy ending 💕👍🏻 🏕️
😅😊😅😊
So nice to see the cab back on! Got a good laugh from your mother dancing around
Lookin back that Was a great an proud moment everything looking good and running hard work paying off 👍🏻
Wow what a shine on those rails
very very nice job, thats some of the hardess work for sure A plus
Thanks John I sure appreciate that!
Single was not as strong but never have to worry about getting rust between the rails ever again!
Those were great trucks built solid, i drove one for a while it had a 350 Cummins
What made you choose a heavy single frame instead of a double frame
I like the more frequent but shorter videos
Man that was a lot of work
luv the red frame
I’m speechless. Thank you
I know you rebuilt a 16908 this one i believe is a 11708 did you notice what the difference is internally?
16908ll and 14708ll are very different. I expected them to be mostly the same but they changed a lot going from the 14(7) to the 16(9). They updated the transmission sometime in the late 90s to the newer style. (I Think) The old timers say the seven was a better transmission but I'm not sure about that. It's got differences with the auxiliary box, but it's been a while so I may be wrong, but the retainer that clips onto the auxiliary drive gear was totally new for me for sure. I believe the are more differences on the output shaft as well (its been a while I could be wrong)
What is a jucket?
Very interesting. I have two LTLs i think a lot of and considering doing what you are. Thanks for sharing
Best video yet
Nice dump body would look better with side red boards 🏕️
Looks good keep them coming. Watch out for that rust need safety glasses
Keep posting brother.
Will do
