As of now (which is 19:32 in UK) G-OATW is Flying from Heathrow to Glasgow and back And then at midnight it flying back to Stansted Btw do you know why Is Titan airways Flying from Heathrow
I believe it is due to a shortage of crew at British Airways ✈️

Take off seemed quicker than usual about 25 or 26 seconds from the start of take off roll to lifting off the ground.Normally it takes about 35 seconds.

Yeah it’s quite common for long taxis. Happens after landing too. Single engine taxi. Saves fuel and engine wear. It has to be started a certain amount of time before takeoff to warm up. You can usually hear the power transfer unit (PTU) “barking”during single engine taxi as it pressurises the hydraulic system on the opposite side until the engine starts.
@@jackmidd123 That's my point. I've seen that often on taxi-ing IN, but don't think I've seen it on taxi-ing OUT, whilst actually on the move.
@@johnm8224 especially at the likes of Heathrow. Taxi can be longer than the flight 😂
Yea its in BA's SOP for a one engine taxi at London Heathrow. Engine 1 comes on and to substitute the Hydraulics that Engine 2 would supply, the yellow elec pump is switched on until Engine 2 becomes available around 2/3 of the way down the taxiway. Saves fuel and releases less emissions. If i remember correctly its only the short hauls that do it and if they are departing on the Easterly runway (09R) then the procedure does not apply and they continue with dual engine startup as the runway is not as far away. hope that helps :)
@@Joebean777can be done for 9R if it looks busy. Usually decision made on pushback but One engine taxi dept for 09R is pretty common.

You're just used to Ryanair with firm landings but you cannot even see Ryanair with long runways.
See I’m sure this must be a myth cos touch wood I’ve flown Ryanair about 15 times and never had a rough landing or a delay lol although since all that crash max 8 thing I’ve only ever flown airlines that are airbus British airways easyJet etc

Beautiful day and breaking looked quite hard as pilot was taxiing off runway in no time.
Paul, Jersey shall always be there of course and so close to the mainland. My Auntie lives in St Helier. Visiting her next March with my girlfriend and flying from Gatwick. Haven’t seen her for too many years and can’t wait!
I am sad watching that. I was in Jersey from July 30 to August 3. This was the moment it was the beginning of the end of the greatest holiday I have ever had. Till then all mine have been either in Yorskhire, Lake District or Scotland in either a B&B, hotel or a cottage with my parents. Never flown. I was on EZY6374 which is the service from Newcastle. I love Jersey so much. I want to go back more than anything.
At 6:36 you can see Elizabeth Castle close to the wing tip. The Pomme D'or is close to that on the mainland.
I took the EZY6473 from NCLE with my gf about 3 weeks ago. My first ever flight. It was the best ever set of sensations and experiences I have ever had. The acceleration when taking off was just a thrill to experience and the speed of the braking was incredible. Back to Jersey. I don't know of many more stunning airports than Jersey Airport. Right next to the sea. It was a lovely airport.
New Zealand has many airports that are by the sea with spectacular views when landing or taking off during the day
