A New Stat for Hockey?
As a 30 plus year hockey fan, I've identified 9 areas that I would change regarding how hockey is played. What would I do if I were a hockey coach? I created my own system. In this video I point out a new statistic that I would use to measure my "Hibbsean Hockey System" effectiveness. The best opportunity to score in hockey is when all ten skates are in the offensive zone. I call this statistic 10 Skate Offensive Time (abbreviated 10SOT). In this video I used my phone to figure out what the 10SOT of the last game for the Thunderbolts team. The results were better than I expected but the statistic shows a lot more work needs to be done. LET'S GO THUNDERBOLTS!

thank you it works on LAN. But I have a problem in making it public....
That would be another step. Please let me know your solution to this. I use Tailscale (a vpn service). I put it on my PFSense router so I can connect to all my computers via LAN, but it doesn't make anything public.
Thank you VERY much for this. Why couldn't this have been my FIRST Google search result instead of trash. You're the best!

Hi do you know where I can get the rubber flappers inside the filter baskets? Nice chewed them up I can’t find on Amazon or manufacturer. I hope you can help i need 2 of them. If i could post a picture of it I would. Thank you in advance
They don't sell this model anymore. I couldn't find replacement baskets. I'm wondering if you could find equivalent pieces of plastic/rubber to replace them. Sorry.
Thank you
good video
For future reference, the tools are a hammer drill and a masonry bit with carbide tips is the ticket for punching through brink and concrete. 73!
This is just terrific! Thanks to a fellow member of our Deep Dixie Contest Club, I was able to download the 1.84 release and it's working great through CrossOver on my MacBook Pro! I do have a feature request (unless I'm not finding the instructions on how to make this modification). When I'm running and I've filled up the screen space with call signs, it doesn't scroll to show me additional calls after I've made them. And, if/when I use the "scroll bar" on the right side of the screen, that seems to make the wheels come off. Yes, I can see the callsigns that were added, but I no longer hear stations calling me once I pull the bar down. Plus, if I try to call CQ, nobody answers. I figure I just MUST be doing something wrong. But, I cannot discover (yet) how to ameliorate this situation. Thanks to all the developers! 73 de Larry NN5O • Tupelo, MS (birthplace of Elvis)

Just bought a home with the same cleaner for the pool. I’m the same as you, I repair everything. The only complaint is the cord constantly gets tangled. Are the two white connectors by the power supply suppose to swivel?
Yes. The two white floats on the power cord hold the cord up under water but also swivel to keep from tangling. I still get a bit of tangle but it isn't much. For those wondering, mine was still working without needing to replace belts as of Oct 2023.
Cool easy way to do this, and I need to do it NOW that I passed my exam.
Morse Runner just updated with version 1.84
I would love to join forces! Do you have or will have or could have a code-base walk-through? I could not figure out the math for the frequency-domain emulation of atmospheric noise and honestly got lost in the original code base that had not a single comment.
Thank you! Great feedback. I added three issues from this comment. They are 298, 299 and 300. You can find the first one here: github.com/w7sst/MorseRunner/issues/298 I hope you join us on github.

I'm new to morserunner, and find the program idea great apart from its based on contests... not being a contester Parks on the Air or simillar would make it exceptional lol. Thanks for sharing 😊
That project really came out looking professional...can I borrow your wife????
Think that wall is hard, I have 12 inches of steel reinforced concrete to go through. The bad part is we don’t know where the rebar is located within the wall……..
Thanks for the review and part numbers! My HJ2052 is into it's 3rd season, and I've replaced the smaller inner belt a couple of times, and I feel like I'm just waiting for one (or both) of the larger outer belts to bust. I've only found the smaller inner belt replacement in black rubber, and it doesn't seem like it lasts too long in pool water. Hoping to find that belt in the original material that is more compatible with pool water. Thanks again!
You are amazing.
Is there an App to use with N1MM that simulates Field Day like the Morse Runner does with N1MM using CQ / CQ WPX contests?
I'm not a user of N1MM, but this question would be perfect for their forum. (I assume you tried connecting N1MM with Morse Runner using the ARRL FD contest mode instead of WPX mode.) Sorry I can't be of help. - Scott
@@scotthibbs Yes Scott, Morse runner won't start if you have the log set as "Field Day". Morse runner says can only be used for CQ/CQ WPX only. thanks.
5:50 Ladder Line is supposed to be kept away from other conductors, typically described as 'by twice its width.' It's not like coax in that regard. Yeah I know it probably works fine anyway; I'm here just trying to pass along info from the old days.

Thankyou for this!!!! Also Thankyou for a great shark attack!! That was awesome :)
Hello, we have the Aiper Smart Pool cleaner and it worked amazingly well until the 2nd year. It just quit...we replaced the belts and the power box still lights up and seems to work. It just doesn't seem like there is anything "juice" getting to the vacuum itself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I can't recommend how to go about how to repair the unit yourself. My initial thought is to find an appliance repair shop (tv, vacuum or car stereo etc) to ask who can look at it, or post on local social media to see if anyone will look at it for you. Let's hope it is something simple like a fuse.
I’m impressed! She is sure good at that drywall work! Wish I was! I desperately need to bore a big hole in my house and just can’t find the nerve! Something tells me mine should be a lot easier as mine is vinyl siding not brick. I know nothing about siding and that’s what’s got me! If I damage the siding then getting a proper color match replacement piece concerns me a good bit! I have 3” PVC and couple parts recommended to me to do this just researching a bit how to best deal with the siding. Thanks for the video 73 de Seth - W8FG
In the video I referrenced, John W5CYF suggested hiring an electrician to do the hole. I think that's what he did.
Way to get wife approved - don't get married lol
Great antenna, alot of work but it should work well now. Cheers for sharing.👍🤓
Haha, very entertaining and practical. I agree with unsightly window entry, most window are not sash windows in Australia, also most houses are brick and gyprock on the inside, no cinder block so it's easier. Glad it worked out in the end. 👍🍺🤓🇦🇺

I forgot to mention my youtube elmer, W5CYF Tinker John, for his video making a coax switch. He gave me the idea of using pop rivets which made this easy to assemble and kept me from using solid wire. :) th-cam.com/video/5xn_EjhklYA/w-d-xo.html
Hi Scott! Thank you for this video, I have the exact same model and have found some helpful tips in your video. Was wondering, with all your research, have you found a place where they sell the foam rollers? Had some small branches fall into the pool, the robot did a fantastic job and was able to munch and suck most of them...but im now seeing some damage on the rollers.
Found them here: aipersmart.com/products/sponge-roller-foam-brush-for-pool-cleaner I didn't take time to look elsewhere so there may be cheaper rollers out there. I have a couple orange spots on one of my rollers that look like rust. I'm not concerned with it, but I should do a follow up video. I used "Robbie" (my robot) for 12 hours (3hrsx4 times) before closing the pool this year. Absolutely no maintenance yet.
@@scotthibbs Hey Scott. Moved recent and house has a pool w/ the same pool sweep. Works great. Small belt broke but was able to replace. Now one of the foam rollers split in half and had to fish it out of the pool. Aiper doesn't seem to the list the foam roller anymore. Searching and searching and now luck. If you or anyone has a source please let me know. Hate to spend $100's on a new unit for just the lack of one roller. Thanks, Gary
@@garymeyers2061 Their website changed to aiper.com... Our product looks just like the new Orca 1300. I'm not certain but I believe that those rollers would fit ours. This is the Orca 1300: www.aiper.com/products/aiper-orca-1300. The roller is now at www.aiper.com/products/sponge-roller-foam-brush-for-pool-cleaner For $36 it is worth a try. Please let us know if they fit. -Scott
@@scotthibbs Hi Scott, Thanks for the reply. Yea, I found that roller too. I sent an email to Aiper Support asking if that roller would fit or not but so far just crickets.😞 I'll take a chance vs. spending $100's on a whole new unit. Will check back in if it fots or not. Gary
Hey Scott, I'm happy to report the replacement rubber paddle like roller fits great. A few seconds and 2 screws is all is needed to replace it. I've decided to order a 2nd one as the other foam rollers are cracking too. Once I get the 2nd roller and give it a drive in the pool I'll check in as to how well it works.
Thanks for posting this review. I've had my Aiper for a couple of weeks now and so far I'm happy. Performance is on par with my previous Aquabot cleaners. The real joy will come with longevity. I've owned 3 or 4 Aquabots over about 16 years, with an average cost of about $800 each. They had their issues with broken belts and roller alignment, which are fairly easy to fix if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. However, I had to bring in 2 Aquabots for repair for burnt out motors, which cost $425 (!!) each time to repair. So, when my latest Aquabot crapped out on me, I decided I'm not giving any more money to that company and to give Aiper a try. Scott, if you ever do a repair (belts, rollers, etc.) would you mind posting a video? Hopefully the machine will last, but wear items like that, especially since it's operated in chlorinated water, tend to need occasional replacements. Lots of luck and please keep us updated on the unit's longevity over the years!
This is the breakdown, but I will post a follow up video when I have any issue: th-cam.com/video/J-tir6pqExc/w-d-xo.html
The newer model, aiPOOLY1300, uses the same exact belts as the HJ2052. The outer track belt is a T10-800-14 (also named 14T10-800) with 80 Teeth. The small drive belt is a 162XL037 with 81 teeth.
Scott, where can you purchase these belts? Now having much success finding them at the pool supplies store located by me. I am happy with the pool vacuum when functioning.
@@SteveSmith-yj7xe I'm not an expert on belts just a good google searcher. I ordered both from Amazon in 2021. The outer belt isn't available on amazon or from aiper. The same belt is for the aiPOOLY1200 too and your looking for the T10-800-14, 14T10-800, or 14T10/800. I found this belt here texasbelting.com/products/gates-t10-800-14 and I found this eBay item number:155466944202 for all four belts. @@scotthibbs Thank you Scott. Much appreciated.
When I do this, I drill through the mortar and not the brick. Very easy to return to original condition.
That’s right. Great advice.
Aiper Smart has no direct customer service there is no help this is a foreign company you have to Text or email your problem the phone # they have on web site is the answering machine. for last few days I tried nobody got back to me yet be aware. They do not take it back , stay away from this Company from these people you will be frustrated.
This is true Ali. I noted my only contact with them was by Facebook messenger. I bought the unit pre-owned from Amazon with the extended warranty purchased through Amazon. I also chose the unit because I am confident that I can fix it myself. (If I can find parts, tonight I just found a part that will replace the inner belt. So if you need that it is linked above.) Obviously, YMMV. However, all this was stated in the video. If you downvoted my video out of frustration with Aiper, it was misguided toward me. God Bless.
how many belts have you broke yet? lol ... Also is it still working at all?
Still working great! No belts replaced yet.
My small drive belt just broke, trying to buy a new one but all I see are the large outer ones for sale can anyone help with this??
@@driverprep Ok, back from vacation. I've done some research. The smaller belt is harder to find. Found the size (162xl) of this smaller belt from this seller also out of stock: us.amazon.com/PAXCESS-HJ2052-Automatic-Cleaner-Replacing/dp/B08RHK3Z1M I also found that the newer model aiPOOLY1300 also uses the same 162xl belt. Hi Scott. Thank you for the review. Do you have to put it in the water for it to start working? What happens if you switch it on out of a pool, sitting on a deck? Will it start moving? Just having a bit of a concern with that. Thanks.
