Too bad the Hawaiian Homeland Casino at end of line in Kapolei was rejected by Hawaii's We Want to Control You politicians. That would guarantee immense tourist ridership to help justify the cost. Casino money would go to Hawaiian Homeland Housing, diversify island economy, make Leeward Campus a "Travel Industry Management" degree campus.

I get the beauty, and majesticness, of the Rail, but what I don't get is the monthly or yearly additions, a billion here, a billion there, for a doorknob, or another 7 months delay, due to, "Excessive Sunlight"!, All we're saying is enough with the, "BULLSHIT, ALREADY"!!!

It somehow baffles me that the US authorities never bothered constructing adequate public transportation in Honolulu/Oahu before, considering that that island is super overpopulated. But then again, it's the US....the "Anglosphere" has traditionally been crap in regards to public transportation in comparison to Europe and East Asia..... Dear Hawaiians, please embrace that metro system. It has worked well for many years in Copenhagen, the Capital of Denmark, and the North Italian city of Brescia, where exactly the same system was successfully implemented.
