Nice, what were they doing?

I went here today and this crossing will be upgraded between next week and March 2020.

Hurrah, it now has an hourly service between 8.00am and 7.00pm to Sheffield. This was a rather beautiful station when I visited in the 60's. With its lovely portico frontage and delightful buildings it was a graceful station. I well remember the porter one Sunday evening carrying a bucket of coal into the waiting room, whistling as he walked along the platform. A moment in time that has always stuck in my memory. So sad to see a once beautiful edifice brought down to a basic bus shelter.

I notice an open window - see 2.40 mins. What is the building used for? Can one buy ticketes there on Saturdays?

Passenger numbers were rather good despite an anti social weekday timetable, It was a Lincolnshire service so always under threat of the chop
