The greatest thing about playing a dark souls game for the first time, is the feeling of making your own story. In my opinion, even when I didn't make a decision that resulted in a gain (item, spell, npc dialogue, etc) it still felt like I was defining my personal character. Like getting to test my own moral character in an unforgiving world. When I ran into this knight on my very first playthrough of dark souls 2, I couldn't help but be captivated by him. He doesn't attack you, he doesn't talk to you, he sits in his spot with no regard to your existence. How did he get there? Did he win, or did he lose? Is he hollow, or did he just give up? All I could do was see his arrows sticking out from the eye slit of his helmet... was bow and leave him be. I was compelled to ramble, because you combined a favorite scene with one of the most memorable moments of dark souls for me. Well done, for what it's worth.
