Thank you for the schematic! I did indeed find it useful in troubleshooting a 112HS I've had for about 30 years. The problem came down to (as usual) bad electrolytic capacitors. First I replaced the two large 4700 uF caps in the power supply, but it was the two 22 uF caps - especially the feedback decoupling cap connected directly to the speaker output - that had large leakage. Once those were replaced, the unit surpasses all of its published specifications easily (>100 watts into 4 ohms, and around .06% distortion at full rated power). I really like the amplifier circuit Peavey created. It's remarkably simple, and yet very robust and the performance is good (100 watts from a single pair of output drivers!). Especially looking at the circuit board, I was amazed at how few components they used to make such a reliable amplifier. Again, thanks for taking the time to make the schematic - I made a screen a screen capture for my files!

I followed the link from your Rigid charger repair, I was searching for the step by step modifications required to modify that particular Rigid charger. I have the same charging unit given to me by a friend from Canada that also uses 110V but unfortunately we here in South Africa are using 230V AC. Though I did understand this video, I'm not technically minded enough for micro electronics such as this. Though I do work often with single phase 230/240V and 3 phase 380/400V AC as well as 12V DC in the refrigeration industry, I have very limited experience in micro electronics. Another consideration is that some of those components are not that easily sourced here. I can only think of 3 or 4 suppliers of such components in my city and they're 70 to 80 km apart from the nearest one to me which is 30 km from me.

I just picked up one of these in a bulk purchase of sound gear. The unit is much cleaner then this one, the power amp works flawlessly but on channels 2 and 3 the XLRs don't work, on channel 4 the XLR works intermittently (it doesn't work more then it does) on all 6 of the channels the 1/4" jacks work as they should. Any ideas? I'm thinking a place to start would be to touch all the solder joints on the offending XLR sockets with a hot iron but after watching your video I wonder if maybe it's a bad opamp or something.

I have the same one Suoer MD 1215 V2.1, 100 Ohm is used (untouched board). No Power Output and No display, what may faulty???? KA7500 and TL494 is the same one??
