Paster Leslie is right we needed to hear what you had to say Minister Wanda spoke so elegantly, I'm feeling your words in my spirit, heart and soul thank you.
Moses chose to be with his people the Hebrews......(To me it's like choosing to be poor, when you've been rich all your life) but it's a better reward.
I'd like to share that my most difficult caregiving time in my life was when my oldest son was shot an in critical condition, and when he came home after being in the hospital for a whole month, he still needed care, and the nurses at the hospital, had to teach me how to care for my sons wounds, and to continue the healing process, then following a year later my youngest son was diagnosed with a chronic disease called Crohn's, and I also had to care for him for quite a while, that was extremely heartbreaking, overwhelming, and very stressful, but they are my children, and I needed to care for them without a doubt, with God's grace, mercy and guidance.
And Leslie yes I do remember coming from Boston to help you guys out with Papa, and yes that was quite a experience for all of us, but I believe it was much more for y'all, because I was only there a week, you guys covered the majority of his care, I know Papa was not an easy person, but we were doing it because we loved him.
And yes you are right and I was so thankful to God that he gave me the strength, and the guidance to make it through to care for people to make their lives a little bit easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.
Thank you sister Leslie, for bringing up this good point, about all that comes along with a caregiving, it's not just sitting down, and being with your client or patient, I was a carer for 20 years, there were times I was saying I'm done, I don't want to do this anymore, but I realized it was God's purpose for me, cuz I couldn't stop no matter how frustrated I felt, but yes there were times when I had so much to do, I would be sweating like crazy, I would be so tired, overwhelmed and stressed, between the showers, laundry, shopping and taking them to the doctors, etc. daily care and definitely three meals a day snacks, and my lady wanted to have her sherry wine faithfully every night after dinner LOL
Keep going!💪🏾

It might not have been easy, I don't regret anyone I helped care for, because I grew to love and care about them whether they were family or not.
Thank you all for sharing your different experiences as caregivers, I definitely can relate and understand.
And yes you are right and I was so thankful to God that he gave me the strength, and the guidance to make it through to care for people to make their lives a little bit easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.
