Bummed - I used my SmartCraw the other day, and it got snagged on something under the water. I let it sink to the bottom of the lake, and when I bounced it, then went to retrieve, it got snagged on something, causing me to lose my lure. I only got about 5 casts out of a $15 lure. I had high hopes for this lure, as it is touted as being virtually snag-free.

Forgot to mention it's heavier than most hollowbellys. 7/8 oz.. even a megabass pony gabbot only weigh 3/4. Perfect for really moving the thick mats.

*My favorite feature is how the handle is actually hooked to the reel>>>**pickoy.com/1ffa** Most reels have a plastic knob that you screw on to the end of the reeling lever allowing you to switch from right hand retrieve to left handed. I have had a few break on me and I always notice some play in the reel, as these nuts tend to come loose over time. But the battle 2 solves this by having the handle actually screw into the mechanism. When you reel down, it actually tightens up, so there is no way for it to come loose during a fight. I've got one of these and it casts a mile. It walks like no other hbf. I have yet to land a fish on it though. I've had about 15-20 strikes and about half of them were taken really good where I could feel the weight of the fish. I've bent the hooks out some and I use a 7' Dobyns Sierra heavy action rod with 50lb braid. The plastic on mine is really stiff and the weight is in between the tip and shank of the hooks which pretty much makes the hook gap smaller. Love the action and it's very weedless but the hookup ratio is terrible. I think if the plastic was just not so stiff it would be much better.
