Mine was dug in like an Alabama tick ha to drill a hole in it an pop it out with a wood screw an a wsher at the end used a long prybar an long as you can get when it pop out a bit put some vice grips at the end to get more leverage this will put the washer down more an pop that bitch out

You completely skipped over the 13 mm altenator post bolt and the importance of it not coming disconnected from Altenator. When you try and remove the altenator 13 mm bolt the whole shift turns which can lead to the altenator not being able to send a charge through the power cable.... Which kills the battery ... you should check that before getting a whole new altenator

Super easy 7 qts and a new oil filter. It's not hard taking off the desktop on the dash but you will need a big funnel to reach the filler tube.

Both the lower and upper intermediate shafts have been redesigned you are INSANE if you take yours off without replacing it its a hundred dollar part that wears. The part comes with a new boot. The job can take 30 mins or 2 hours if the fit of the new one is tight. But the middle section on it while its off the car. Torque spec is 35lbs dont go nuts on it off it will be hard to get off and on.

How’d you like your Vegas? I’ve debated on getting the 24.1 for sometime now. How’d yours drive? Did you suffer a lot of roll and sway when big rigs drove past you?

I just got my plug and play lights I do have a problem my Escalade plug under bumper is 6 prongs my lights that came are 5 prongs what can I do to solve this problem I appreciate every input

What were the problems you were having?

I had a cracked tail light on the '07 Escalade so eventually had to do something about it. Decided to go with the new style units. These things have to be the biggest tail lights ever made for a production vehicle -- 41" top to bottom. My only complaint is that the turn signal LED's are red whereas the OEM's are yellow on the 2015's and newer. Otherwise I love them! Definitely worth it and the install was piece of cake easy -- plug and play!

Impossible if you have variable valve timing The water pump must come off and the sensor never comes out easy

4th gen taillights look hilarious on the 3rd gen because it doesn’t take into account that you’re putting thin long taillights on arguably the bulkiest and fattest looking Escalade. It just doesn’t work and looks very odd and silly when you see them on the road.

never remove positive battery cable first. you will fry electronics. always remove negative first.

I put a new one on and it is still doing the same thing
