Also wow, I did not notice this, but we're nearly at 300 subscribers! That'll be a huge milestone that I can't wait to pass, but boy am I excited for it.

I don't think I noticed at the time that you would have won game 3 if you had preemptively flipped Remove Brainwashing at the end of my turn. Of course, without knowing that your topdeck would be another monster that would allow you to close out the game, I think it was a reasonable choice to save it.

My second favorite deck history

That Amazoness deck was insane. Showing off the wacky stuff you get to do when cards treat formerly non-archetypal cards as part of the family.

In retrospect, I probably should have kept Chaos Robolady a secret since I had already won the match. But I couldn't just not summon it. And obviously it didn't matter, but at the end of game 2 I could have summoned Melchid, fused it, Nightmare Elf, and your dragon into Flower Wolf, and then used After the Struggle/Last will to summon anything with 600+ atk to win a turn earlier. You can even see me considering the play, but I decided against it. I think I probably forgot to count Flower Wolf's atk when running the numbers in my head, so I didn't think I had enough damage available.

I suspect I am the only person to ever have three Grand Tiki Elders on my field at once. I am certain I am the only person to have two Grand Tiki Elders owned by my opponent on my field at once, along with one of my own.

I always thought yusaku would play a card like superpolly but a cybers version he would make in a desperate situation in his duel against AI, but instead of fusing, it would link. BTW, a hotdog is nat a sandwich!

Personally I feel like he would play dark Templar or the arrival as a tribute to Ai

I found this series after you mentioned it in the your recent vid, and I know this is 2 years old, but you looking at 5 Headed Dragon and saying "This is a good Instant Fusion target" was so funny. I know you meant Future Fusion, but for a second I was like my brother in Ra what?!

Well that was incredibly unbalanced. Very fun though. As much as I love our shuffle prog series, I feel like this format is a much better way to use the shuffler for most people.

Love this deck. I've been puzzling over this for years and it's exciting to see people have came up with similar solutions. The logic going into this deck is just intense and crazy. My change would be including the Mythical Beast engine. For my own build I looked first at the hard mechanics of competitive yugioh and worked backwards going over the lore or near lore card pool. There is art of Slifer on Raigki now, so I include it and Lightning Storm. I found as many board breakers as possible. Then I watched loza vids to work out as many starters as possible. learned a bit about the toy engine and included aspects of that. As a Battle city modern deck then it's absolutely perfect. when ppl hear modern atem deck they think what cards would he use that are modern but of his own retrain cards. the archfiend cards would be used in His modern Duelist kingdom deck i would love to see a modern version of his Ceremonial Battle deck and same for yugi (Gold sorcov)

31:40 I went onto learn that the reason this archetype is Aqua-Type is because it's a play on words, as these monsters represent Japan's "bubble" era. Nah, but the real reason they're Aqua-Type is because they're DRANKING!!!!

Only occurred to me in editing that I could have used Nuvia's effect to help protect myself after I attacked with it...

I think when they thinked about the 100 hundred numbers, they realize that they didn't have ideas for this cards, so they created later numbers for popular archetypes for the zexal era like numbers 71,81 and 90 that you forgot on this list.

1:10 slight typo - the text on screen is meant to be read "...for Atem after he regained his memory." When I was typing that into my editing software, I guess "Atem" and "after" registered as the same word lol. Think the point still gets across, just wanted to address it :)

To be honest, this is just wholesome.

It feels nice to finally have some good cards. Even if most of them don't survive the episode. And accidental perfect synergies are my new favorite thing about this format.

26:24 I did forget to swap the view back to my field, but honestly not much even happened that turn so I just decided to leave it, as I don't think it hurts the watchability of the video at all.

Peak is back!

I just noticed that I was playing four copies of 7 Colored Fish. I turned the deck limits off for testing purposes, but I guess I never turned it back on, and being split between two rows made me not notice them. It only took two episodes for the cheating to start, even with the scripts keeping us from messing up card effects. Realistically, it probably didn't matter much though. I probably would have just tossed in a Tripwire Beast to basically be an Upstart instead. I'm watching for that Mask of Darkness now.

The modified cards are a nice touch.

I continue to love this series and I can't wait for this to be publicly available so I can give it a try myself.

This ia maybe my single favorite remix of the typical prog format. I'm looking forward to more. Also, I think including initial reactions to when you find cards with broken effects could be a fun inclusion.
