My channel encompasses many of my interests and passions, five in all. Movie trailers from novels I have written, Colorado Adventures, Missouri Outdoors, My Music and my alter-ego, Cletis M. Wundermann.
I've written 4 novels and have uploaded video trailers of each. They are all available on Amazon.
I have traveled to Colorado's high country for many years, here you will find videos from some of my adventures.
As a Missouri native, I've spent much time exploring the Ozark Mountains and surrounding areas. This playlist features some of my Missouri experiences.
As a guitarist for 50+ years, I have often performed live in the St. Louis area. I've uploaded some of my solo interpretations of some of my favorite songs.
Cletis M. Wundermann is an alter-ego I created during my 2016 trip to Colorado. Cletis offers his opinions on many topics and sometimes rants about the ridiculousness of todays society.
I hope you enjoy my videos and please subscribe and leave comments.

Bear Creek Narrow Bluff Trail - Ouray, Colorado Part Two
A few years ago, I hiked the Bear Creek trail near Ouray, Colorado. My destination was the Yellowjacket Mine. This is part two of a POV video I took while hiking what turned out to be my favorite section of the trail. I would not recommend this hike for someone uncomfortable with heights. The elevation of this trail at this point is roughly 9,500 feet, the bluff on the left can rise as high as 600 to 800 feet and the drop off on the right bottoms out at Bear Creek roughly 600 feet below.

Hancock Pass, Colorado 2023. rough Trail
มุมมอง 3214 วันที่ผ่านมา
Clarence the Jeep and I took a drive up Hancock Pass in Colorado, not too far from St. Elmo. This was one rough trail, more than expected but other than a slip here and there due to boulders, a bit of ice and snow, we topped out at the summit.

Electric Pass, Colorado
มุมมอง 106ปีที่แล้ว
Electric Pass (13,485') The trailhead is located about 12 miles south of Aspen on Highway 15 in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness. Electric Pass is the highest trail pass in Colorado. Though ominously named for its exposure to lightning, it's no more susceptible than any other point at this elevation. This hike is rated as difficult.

does this trail start anywhere near box canon or access from the perimeter trail?
No it doesn't. You need to take Hwy 550 toward Silverton. Watch for a stone bridge that crosses over the highway. The parking lot is on the left immediately after the bridge. The trail begins across the highway from the parking lot and crosses back over the highway.
@denneyrenner4807 thanks
Que aventura tan espectacular, en los próximos meses, la realizaré. Gracias por compartir tan formidable travesía. Saludos desde Colombia e invitados a conocerla.

not a good video 12 minuets of dirt road no side views ,no meadows just driving BAD.
you have no content. let me know when you post some so I can learn (ha,ha)
How long did it take you and how many miles each way? Amazing video. Thanks
Thanks for watching and thanks for the compliment. I tend to take my time whenever I'm off-roading, primarily to take in the scenery. I don't remember exactly how long; I'm going to guess 3 hours or so. I only went to the summit of the pass then turned around and headed back down the same way I came up. I ran into very little traffic until I was above tree line. When I put together my videos, I edit out most traffic.
Awesome video. Good narration too. Thanks
Wow. Sehr schön gesungen. I LOVE IT Schöne Grüße aus Germany🥰🥰🥰🥰
thank you
That's some beautiful country - thanks for sharing with us! 👍🏔👍
thanks for the comment. Yes, the Colorado Rockies are beautiful. Subscribe to my channel as I will be posting more shorts as well as full length videos
@@denneyrenner4807 Welcome. Growing up, I had family in Golden. Always loved daytripping some elevation!
Thank you for your video. It was very helpful. Nice job on your video.
I agree. Very helpful video. Thanks DR!🙂
Why does your video repeat in the middle?
I can't find the "repeat" spot. Could you give me the time marker? I will edit it out
Linda melodia ...bela interpretação ! Parabéns
Any place along that Starvation Creek Road 203 A that it looks like you took to park for a night? Sorta flat spot?
I don't recall of anyplace along the Starvation Creek Road but the road eventuall dead ends. It is flat and has a nice view
I was unprepared for the steepness, but it was beautiful. After we arrived at the lake, in the cirque above were wolves. They saw the dogs and began howling. Hair raised on my neck. Never saw them but they were NOT coyotes. Think they were warning us to get out of their hunting area. WE DID! Great day, great hike!
thanks for the comment. Yeah it was a great hike, but I was also not prepared for the steepness
Great song! Reminds me a bit of Chris Rea or Mark Knopfler.
Thanks for the compliment. I've listened to Mark Knopfler and Chris Rea is one of my favorites.
Superb cover!! Is it in standard tuning?
thank you. Yes standard tuning, key of Dm, Capo on 2nd fret
that is perfect !:)
thank you. I'm happy you enjoyed it
Where is that
It's near Lesterville, MO. Running the river is no longer legal there. This was back in the mi '70s
Nothing fun is legal anymore
Awesome video! The best I have seen in a while. Keep doing them exactly like this!
Thanks David. I appreciate the compliment. I have more I'm working on.
Thanks Denny.
I wish Phantom and Shelf were designated one way to make a loop. If just feels safer. 😊
Let me be the first to say thank you for this video and how you did it.. This is what we or many like me want to see without having to listen and watch a person film themselves for 70% of the video. I was just thinking about a trip back to Silverton and doing Eng. and Cinnamon again. May have to try this one too. Cheers
Can you still hunt there?
as far as I know you can hunt in the wilderness are but it is walk in only. Also, there a lot of Mark Twain National Forest surrounding the wilderness area that I'm positive you can hunt in
Loving it!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it
Planning for next month passing close by, I have a Hyundai Santa Fe 4 W It looks like i can make it with it : )
go for it. You should have no problems.
I'm going to hike this one real soon. Less than an hour from my home.
I'll try and check out these trails for sure. 🤠
If We saw them more often, It wouldn't be a big deal, lol we all like secrets.
Good song & good singing w/ fine guitar playin

Been on most of these trails on 4 wheelers, would like to go back sometime.
I'm driving this on Monday but the opposite way - Cripple Creek to Cañon City. I'm glad I'll be on the inside of that shelf road. This doesn't look as bad as Lime Creek (or others) felt to me, but I'd rather not be on the edge! (And it's always nice to see someone else named Renner - it's my maiden name!)
Hello Whats the name lake in the beginning??
At the very beginning at the intro...that is Mirror Lake near Tin Cup, Colorado

Amazing performance! congrats!

I just finished reading your harrowing story. One thing that just about everyone seems to agree on about this mountain: it is a steep, unrelenting climb - a quality to which I believe the stats don't do full justice. Though this route doesn't have much technical difficulty, it is worth remembering that adverse events are possible regardless of this. Someone could trip on a tree root going through the forest - you never know. Recently I saw a video where a guy fell on some ice climbing up Mt. Sherman (objectively one of the easier 14ers), fell onto the rocks and busted his head open, and ended up in the ER & hospital for extensive stitches. Just to think of how many times it could have been me, or any of us mtn. climbers. Anyway, your perspective on the ordeal is great, and I hope you have been able to "get back in the saddle" again since then - mtn. climbing, I mean!!
Thanks for your comment. Yeah, it was a tougher climb than I expected. My fall occurred for 2 reasons: First I was talking rather than paying attention and second, my foot found some marble and slid into a boulder as I went down, breaking my ankle. Yes, I've been back at it and have summited several 14ers since that mishap in 2009. I've also hiked a few 13ers and more than a few high country passes. Keep checking back, I will be posting more. Again, thanks for taking the time to comment
Good to hear. 👍
