XMAS Holiday Lemmings 93 "Flurry" in 26m 02s | Speedrun [Amiga]
XMAS Holiday Lemmings 93 (1993) by DMA Design | Speedrun Amiga
Played by MilkToast
About the game:
Lemmings is a puzzle-platformer video game originally developed by DMA Design in Dundee, Scotland and published by Psygnosis for the Amiga in 1991 and later ported for numerous other platforms.
The objective of the game is to guide a group of anthropomorphised lemmings through a number of obstacles to a designated exit. To save the required number of lemmings to win, one must determine how to assign a limited number of eight different skills to specific lemmings that allow the selected lemming to alter the landscape, to affect the behaviour of other lemmings, or to clear obstacles to create a safe passage for the rest of the lemmings.

At first I was reluctant to watch this because it is on easy, but I then tried replicating your time and I have to say well done. I was able to replicate your time on easy, but it was certainly not easy. Good job.
Thank you very much! Dont worry hard difficult is also on my list. Yes there is a lot to do to get a decent time. GG on trying it at your own and getting a similar time.
not optimes run, delete
I am still learning its a hard run man.
I recently found out about this game from a TH-camr who talked about this game's insane difficulty. Out of more curiosity I decided to see what a speedrun of it looks like, but is there a reason why there's no FULL game speedrun? Why is it only certain levels when I search up on youtube?
Nobody was insane enough to do it yet! Its pretty hard, but no unfair.
Beanstalk can be beaten in 1 stop if you're fast enough, just like Taxi Trainer can be completed without intentionally crashing to refuel.
I still play this game everyday
The NOSTALGIA, Man...........
Always a good feeling!
@retrospeedruns777 I get My original mint copy tomorrow. LOL.
Nice
Thank you very much!
the music is enchanting. especially the israeli anthem
totally there is no better version of it.
almost splattered in the orc battle!
Yeah that was scary!

nice timestamps thx :)
I played this on a PDA with the SCUMMVM emulator
Thats very cool! You should give a another go soon.
I wish I could find this and play it without having to buy an Amiga.
Get your hands on an Emualator like WinUAE or AmigaForever and you are ready to settle again
who else is here in 2024?
44 minutes is insane for this game what?
Thanks! It definitly took longer then 40 min to create the run :)
I also only got 2 chimes ringing at best and no minotaurs in my pirated version. Is that normal?
Thats interessting, maybe you are just good. I dont have any experienve with the pirated version, but could also be for sure.
I have a cassette with lots of these tunes... I do not even remember which is which, I just recorded them becos I thought the music was awesome... I DO remember The Black Crypt, one of the later Dungeon Master clones I remember even writing a review for Amiga Magazine (NL) too
Thank you for sharing, reading personal expierence about the Amiga is always good stuff.
Man, that poor censor-circle is working its little butt off trying to keep up.
Yeah he is really doing his bes, but sometimes he fails for some frames ;)
That was a brutal man slaughter
100% the most brutal in history to be precise
Your video made me wonder how fast I could pass this level as I am a big fan of the game. I gave it a try and did 1m20s.
GG! you think you can beat the other levels as well?
great game
Its the best!
very nicee
Thank you very much!
This was the Amiga1200 version. It was a bit 'prettier' than Amiga500 version.
Small correction: It still is the A1200 (AGA) Version ;)
@@retrospeedruns777 Ah, you mean you're still playing? :)
@retrospeedruns777 any plans to do anymore levels?
@@googlesucks925 Yes its on my list for sure (list is kinda long though)
i really like the intro music
Yeah it really fits the overall theme of the game experience.
Alternate title: Rook takes Bishop (out)
5:49 "arent you forgetting about your suqad mates?" "actually i am ignoring them" LMAOOOOO i didnt knew you had this dialogue such a shame it was not done as they wanted and a commercial faillure 15:39 dammm you got a critical hit not even in easy you saved from one shot
This game is oddly appealing. They really did a great job creating something creative when FPS were still in its experimental phase. Those critical hits can be brutal but I think its a great little feature.
You can get lamp oil on your Main Island
Yeah true.
Made it in 01h48m with lamp oil instead of tobacco
Thats awesome Good Job!
Man I loved this game when I was a teen! Now I can't deal with the loading and slow pace
Its is really great for what it is with some creative design choices. Only downside is, that you can not repeat a conversation so if you miss a clue you can get it anymore and are softlocked without even knowing...thats pure evil.
What a great game
Its great indeed but also pretty evil.
6:50 the waiting game
Everyones favorite !
Street wars! Yiah!
Of Course!
Wow i had this game i was just joking around about it because some guy opened a new commodore 64s and thought id search to see if someone had it … wow thanks for posting.
Thats cool :)
This is why I sucked with this game as a kid.
We all did! Give it another go at an adult.
新手のホラーゲーム感好き
Yeah!
Do you know that there's going to be a prequel game called Simon the Sorcerer Origins? Fans are hoping they'll do a true sequel to Simon the Sorcerer 3D because of it's cliffhanger ending. Do you agree?
No I wasnt aware of that, thank you for letting me know. I like Simon 3D and getting more canon lore would be great.
This game was meant for kids, but when i was a kid it seemed impossible to beat 😅
Yes its pure evil in some stages so true. Iirc this was by design so you cant beat it on a weekend if you rent it.
@@retrospeedruns777 makes sense, the allowance i spent on renting it couldve bought me the game indeed.
@@heinritske8256 Coorperations just love riping kids of.

Ehm. Ok.

@retrospeedruns777 I need a Swashbucklin King's Advisor Speedrun ;) But a question: what's faster about losing the initial fight?
You have officially taken over my feed and im all here for it!
Would love to see the game engines code on object door😂
When you hire new staff always make sure it says: tickles trout and plays theme Park a lot 😂❤
This was amazing on my p75 and themepark. Thanks for the nostalgia! And i still return to this game every couple of years and play it untill it becomes a grind. (Later levels take forever; doing the same thing over and over).
Looking back on this game one thing never occurred to me. Why on earth would you use a half height door and a curved side panel on a toilet cubicle?
Tbh I also just realised it after your comment good catch. I guess the developers wanted to show of their animations or thats how toilettes are designed in the UK - who knows its still a mysterious island.
@@retrospeedruns777 Yes that makes more sense I guess it gives it more life rather than just being a covered square. BTW I'm from the UK and we definitely prefer private toilet cubicles. I know in some cultures they are more relaxed about these bodily functions but over here the etiquette would be stare straight ahead and don't make eye contact
I noticed there was no general diagnosis at eggsenham, is there any reason why? I’m still learning :) is it that something else does it better?
Hi, yes you noticed correctly. There are still a lot of unknown variables waht is the best play for Theme Hospital. My current strat is to skip the General Diagnosis because it get obsolet pretty fast by Scanner and X-Ray. But who knows maybe it will return in later runs.
there is not epidemics on level 10??
Maybe I skipped them all. You always good the chance to skip it and get a fine and a hit on your reputation.
my favorite game this is the only game like this where you have to use you brain and strategy
Yes there is always that one game that ticks all our boxes in what we enjoy doing.
