Whenever you ise the prolite which nozzle and aircap do you use for sealer, base coat, and clear?
Generally u can use same nozzle and aircap sealer basecoat and clear but in my experience in Australia in ProLite T2 cap and 1.3 nozzle works for me best in sealer and basecoat
@@thediyprogarage8534 oh ok. Thanks for your input. Great work with that prolite. I have the same spray gun with all the aircaps and tips. You never use 1.4 for anything or does it just put out too much?

With 2inch lift 265/70/17 tyres u need positive offset wheels…mine is 0 offset and still rubbing on mudguards or u can put 0 offset wheels remove the mudguards on front

Im considering buying a 17ft caravan and a hilux 4x4 3.0 D4D dual cab manual. The van would weigh around 1600kg-1700kg . Will be travelling right around australia. Anyone have personal experience with this setup? Or thoughts on if it would be a good combo .
I will go with the new 2.8d4d more refined ant runs better than 3.0d4d
Get a Unichip, expect north of 40% more power, no adverse effect on consumption, unless you use a heavy right foot. Plus fit EGT guage. I'd rate this as better for 95% of users than any 70 series Cruiser iteration, including the new releases.

I’ve repaired about 30 brand new Toyota commercial vehicles mainly hilux when upgrading suspension,. I use the Forch brand , similar to your stuff. They sell them with rusted chassis here in Sydney. Not very Toyota like ☹️

It just started to smoke pure black…we thought it was an injector ….then the mechanic found diesel in the sump…..missing like it was on 3 cylinders ….black soot out of the exhaust…always best to get 3 opinions lol

I just replaced my 2011 3 litre at only 240 k …due to a cracked piston…apparently a common problem….new cost fully recondition plus install $12800 ….at least 10 more years of use now …

3 litre 1kd is better than 2.8 litre 1gd because 2.8 has more electrical components in the engine system and is there for more than 15 years. The new 1gd engine is fast for highway but in terms of reliability i don't think ao and have see numerous videos where they have engine rebuit less than 5 years and many owners are selling this new hilux within 2 to 3 years when buying this expensive unit. Also this new hilux have soft body when compared to the older hiluxes.

A 2.8 GD6 can't compete with my 3.0L d4d N70 hilux Dakar that thing pulls to 210km/h every time I press down.....en all I've done is a de-cat and injector upgrade en new cylinder head 😂
hey brother will it still rub if you put a 10mm front strut top spacer will give 15/20mm front height lift 😂 i really want to do this size tyre and lift the front slightly
Its should be fine bro …at the moment i put 35mm 1.5 inch lift in front
