Hello, thanks for the feedback. It can be done but it requires manpower and a team of people. I am alone and I need to keep it simple. If you see one of my videos about monitoring (th-cam.com/video/YeACvDCAYno/w-d-xo.html) you will see that I am retrieving more or less 120 counters specific to SQL server. That is raw data and for each counter you have what it means and how to chart it while comparing it with other counters. With that data other tools on the marker create rich visuals which in the end shows you the same data as my charting functionality show in the video but in 10-20 different forms. What they sell is fashion, I am trying to sell knowledge and how you can achieve it. Also if I would have had more time I could have integrated into dashboards (th-cam.com/video/1tx6JSJaYog/w-d-xo.html) some of the results I receive for those 120 counters. The thing is that coming with a reach, beautiful user interface requires manpower and 10 times more work than I put in some of the features I am adding to the GUI. Setting Parameter, interpreting result, multiple steps and everything you mentioned is very good to have but crosses the border of what I am able to do at this point with the knowledge I poses. On top of that as I said I want to keep the tool as light as possible. The advantage of the tool and its usage should be straightforward. 1. Retrieve data 2. Filter data 3. Perform aggregation 4. Chart data For example, someone just called the DBA and they ask about CPU performance.
