The deals at Dollar General this week (Sunday 7/7/24 through Saturday 7/13) are CRAZY! In this video, I’m scoring seven separate items for a final cost of $1.09 EACH!
So basically, thats like buying the three toothpaste at full price and getting the Irish Spring and Secret deodoranrs for free.
We are getting several different items for this scenario, including: Irish Springs body wash, Secret outlast deodorant, Colgate toothbrushes and an oral b toothbrush!
It may not sound like much, but we are scoring nearly $34 worth of product for a final price before tax of $7.65!

It's a great deal and I would love try it but lately nothing is working for me and the dang dg cashiers are not being nice about it... yesterday I left in tears cause I was told you coupon people just think everything stacks and it doesn't and I didn't bother any further at that point... my main question is can I split the colgate deal and deodorant deals in 2 transactions?
Of course you can! And usually if you scan your products before checkout within the app it will show you what is attaching to the product. As long as you quadruple check everything is working properly and you have the correct items, it should come off correctly at the register. When checking out, as soon as the cashier starts scanning I type my number in. Everything will come off automatically.

I sent you a PM on Instagram with a copy of my receipt. My deal didn't work out quite the same. Im happy with it though. I picked up the wrong car clip so that lost me $2.30. I didn't receive the full discount off on the coupons. It did however bring the cost to zero on those products Taking off for the car clip mistake and factoring on the 5 Colgate deal and 5 off 25, my pre-tax total was $6.72.
What does it mean old system and new system? I’m confused.
DG is (unfortunately) in the process of updating their system registers nationwide. An “old system” is an older technology they use on their registers. On these you are typically able to stack discounts easier, and the receipts are easier to read and understand. On a “new system” you cannot stack certain discounts like you can on an old system, the digitals typically don’t apply correctly until Monday, and the receipts are much more difficult to understand.
How to determine when you're at a store that has a new system the register has a touch screen and the old system has a keyboard.
