i don't think i will be the first or last to say this, but you don't really gain much from doing terribly on something too hard for you. passing or failing a song really does not matter in the grand scheme of things, as some songs have much more hp drain than others. judging by the unstable rate and the incapability to hold long notes, you're not used to any of these patterns yet, especially on simultaneous notes with long notes where people tend to let go out of a wish to let go of the key moreso than not being able to keep it held. if you care to improve, here are some general tips: 1. it is much easier to read where notes are NOT present rather than where notes are present. this especially applies to long notes, meaning the most you need to read of them is where they end. still applies to normal notes for denser patterns. you'll eventually figure out it's a combo of both reading notes and space that make reading notes easiest. 2. as well, notes tend to have some form of direction, aka are your fingers tapping from right or left to left or right. reading notes like that makes earlier patterns easier to read, and then make reading and hitting more than one note at once the real challenge, though not to hard with enough muscle memory for them. 3. on the topic of muscle memory, it tends to be how most patterns are read. i know how hard it is to find songs with specific patterns which is why i'm actually going to say try to find songs you like. familiarize yourself with their patterns. most people tend to just download practice packs and whatever, that's fine but you gotta enjoy the game, and enjoying the song and map means enjoying the game. 4. Don't rush to extremely difficult songs. As far as osu mania goes, play songs your level and (answers may vary) 0.6* above, get S on them, and then try slowly moving onto harder songs. Accuracy matters as it tends to be a measure of comfort on a song, comfort being pattern familiarity and speed to hit it. 5. If it helps, rhythm games have you hit to the noises of the songs and that is how you get accuracy. It may sound like a "no duh" thing but there tends to be that moment where you realize "oh it's hitting to this sound/rhythm!" and the eventual realization that basically every note and long note are following a rhythm. If you want to ask anything else, i'll respond as long as I'm not sleeping or at school.
its not that im rushing into hard songs i just enjoy them more than the easy ones, yea im not used to the note patterns and i always struggle with hold notes however once i pass a level for the first time i tend to slow it down so i can improve rank and such, this is just my first pass is all. i like to be challenged because i almost never experienced skill challenges in many other things before and im enjoying the experience. its just how i like to play, im not hellbent on getting better at the game im just enjoying the ride. also already knew and was practicing tips 1 and 5 lol. i got a friend irl whos much better at the game than me thats also helping me along and despite having significantly less plays than him im not too far off skill wise, i just have good reaction time if nothing else.
@@tiberiusdeangelo All of this I can understand and get behind fine. I would be a hypocrite if I didn't admit to doing the same for fun sake. That said I do feel with improvement comes more fun opportunity, especially the earlier stages. Don't let me bend you into improving out of your own pace though.
What’s your mania skin? Looks nice :)
Its called snowy circles, i fogret who its by tho
Goofy ass skin
Nice! Keep improving!
now fc road of resistance dt
ill work on it, i tried it out earlier but i cant hope to beat it let alone fc as of yet so it might be a while before a vid comes out for it
Nice score

🙈 "Promo SM"
Lmao the auto generated transcript just ending with "he" made my day a little, sorry I find the dumbest stuff funny
watching back on the gameplay i can definitely say the lag wasnt really visible on stream which is what i expected, my headset was overheating and airlink was lagging and you can hear it sometimes with my mic, hence why i was experience lag despite it not being visible in the game or stream as it was moreso headset sync lag rather than actual game or whatever. so i promise im not going crazy and just blaming the game instead of admitting skill issue, i did admit when it was skill issue a few times lol... if ya wanna call it skill issue tho thats fine im not too bothered by it, i just thought id give a proper explination i also think i need to find replacement controllers if those are even a thing for the quest 2, mine have seen a few bumps and bashes and have lost some of their tracking, its still fairly accurate but not as accurate as it used to be
!:39:00 Nourishment gives a saturation-like effect, comfort gives regen I think
Ye I learned this last night, and no comfort just cures weakness, hunger, and slowness according to the wiki
Well, I wasn't planning on cursing someone every episode.... But now I may! Thanks for the idea :P
Hecc my life xD
Oops I beat the game xD
The main character is such an idiot, I love him, he is the personification of chaotic stupid
I never knew that this game would allow you to go to Australia, was even more surprised to see that it is so close to Hogwarts
A tip for getting accustomed to the dreamscapes, the safest areas to explore at first are the ones at the Cinder Isles and the one at the Hidden Gorge
At 50:44, "The Eye might have called out to any sentient species." is very important for the dlc area, as you can see an entire different species there
At 45:49 you found the school of the city, did you notice the smaller nomai skeletons at the desks and the larger one near the kind of whiteboard? It almost looks like they all died suddenly without warning, and many of the other skeletons are like that too if you look at objects near them
I actually didn't notice, kinda sad lol
In order to find the sixth location of the quantum moon, you will have to travel with it, as it is very far out of the solar system, but still in orbit arouind something that orbits the sun, I'm gonna let you guess what this sixth location is
It's either the interloper, the dlc area(the intruder), or on a very off chance, the satellite, that's my guess at least
Sadly I missed the stream by a little bit because of dinner, but on the last stream I commented on suggesting on visiting all the Quantum locations, but by that I didn't mean the moon, because when you have the signalscope out, you will be able to see other sources than just the moon, I suggest going to those that are on planets
Because at the sources of those signals, you will learn the rules of the quantum stuff, allowing you to land on the Quantum moon, although I would reccomend that after getting everything, you should read the quantum area of the ships log in rumour mode (purple colored) so you can refresh yourself on what to do on the moon as it can be a bit complicated
Gotcha, ima try it out then next time
The thing you saw moving in the Nomai mine on Timber was probably water from a geiser going up, as there are no things in the water caves
guess im a certified wimp then lmfao that has to be the weirdest scream ive ever done ngl
You will be able to find out how to land on thw Quantum moon once you have fully explored all the quantum locations, they are best found with the signalscope set to Quantum Fluxuations
There will be a place to input the coordinates, you can find a hint as to where that is, is near the ship on Brittle, in the original settlement there
I'm kind of sad that your friend told you how to get into the core, it would have been better if he gave you a hint on where to find the information, as it is way more satisfying when discovering it yourself as Feldspar will hint at how to do it, and Feldspar is in Bramble btw
He mostly told me cuz he saw how difficult of a time I was having even attempting bramble, but I think ima do a mini stream today trying to find the thing on brittle that you told me about in another comment
"I wish this is going to be a one and done thing", yeah, me too buddy, I also wished that :)
The reason your ship was gone in the first loop, was probably because it got hit straight on by a meteor, which is probably a very low chance of happening
Id say that's probab6what happened because my luck is absolutely awful lmao
Just a hint for dealing with some of the stuff on Brittle Hollow, if you go fast enough, your ship will function as a meteor, but make sure you don’t go so fast that your ship explodes
The poles of Brittle Hollow will never fall into the black hole, and once you have fallen into the black hole once, it will become a lot less scary
If you talk to Gabbro again on Giants Deep you can meditate to skip the loop instead of restarting the save every time
I've been looking for this meditate ability but couldn't figure out how or where, so that's helpful cuz I wasn't even thinking of talking to him again lmao
Sorry for missing the stream, but there is a way to get to one of the Cannon modules that you couldn't get into, the one with the cracked glass, you will just have to think 'outside' the box
Ur fine I did start streaming rather late anyway and ty for the info
i could probably get farther if my stamina was better ngl, but as of right now thats about the best i can do
ik, it says 27 misses, but that's *only* 27 out of all however many, idk, hundreds were in there
